best to put together w/ someone took about 40min not bad at all and looks great.

I needed something big to fill a space in our home, this took up the real estate and added bonus of lighting, the lamp works great!

I don't have any issues with the lamp or with putting it together. It's just as advertised!

It’s such great quality we have 2 of them, assembly is a bit complicated but it’s the only way to make it a great product.

Easier to put together than the reviews said. I really like the way it looks in my living room.

This lamp appears well made and is very beautiful in my humble opinion. I absolutely love the design which goes along with the mid century modern style I'm going for. I do wish the color was a bit more brass and a little less in-your-face gold, but the pros of this item far outweigh the cons. Also, I don't understand people saying it was difficult to put together. We had it together in about 15 minutes. Seriously, the screws are already pre-loaded, you just have to tighten them. I can see people being frustrated with the elbow-type joins, but you just have to fiddle with it to get it at the right angle (find a friend to hold it for you while you do this and it makes it easier). Start at the top. Align and twist the joining sections so the curve is smooth. Tuck in and fold the excess cord. Pull the wire through. Eazy peezy. Buy it, you won't regret it. My whole family loves it, and now our previously dark corner is perfect for reading. It also makes the space feel larger now that it is lit up.

I SO wanted to love this lamp but after assembling, one of the fixtures did not work. I called customer service and they said there were no known issues and to just exchange for another lamp. So off I went to local the popular lamp in my surrounding area only to come home and have the same issue happen again. Thinking it must be just bad luck, I went back to yet another store to exchange for the 3rd time. Needless to say, only two of the light fixtures worked. It’s so sad because the lamp is a wonderful design! After reading through the countess reviews, I can clearly see that I am not alone in this experience. I just wish customer service would have been honest and not made me think it was just a one time issue.

I am happy with the lamp, I assembled it myself, so it is possible for 1 person. I wish the arms were a bit more adjustable but I made it work. it is a shiny brss but hope it will dull a bit over time. THe head base is nice and adds stability.

Perfect light stand for my living room! I have placed that on a corner of my living area. It gives enough light and the design is really modern. It is completely changed the look of my room.

It is a big big pain in the butt to put together!!!!! And packaging suck too! If I knew it was gonna be this hard to put together I would never buy this crap! I am very very handy but this… is just crap!

I am very happy with the style and function of this lamp. Definitely worth the price. It was not hard to assemble.

Overall it’s a beautiful lamp. Seems well made and the marble base is very heavy so the lamp is stable and sturdy. The only downside is that some of the shades of brass don’t match. The lamp comes in pieces that you have to assemble, and not all of the brass finishes are the same. It’s not super noticeable but it’s weird (I added pictures for reference). I did shop around quite a bit before purchasing and I believe the price on this is really reasonable.

We purchased this in store, and we were very excited to get it home and put together. We figured for the price, it wouldn't take much effort to get it upright, but we were wrong. The instructions are not very clear, and even with 2 people. it was a very awkward set up. The bulbs flop around every which way until you get them screwed in properly, and they have the tiniest screws in them that I will warn you to NOT fully take out, because you will certainly lose them- they are microscopic. Once we were through the frustration of setup, we were happy with our purchase. This looks and feels classy in our living room.

It is a beautiful lamp but one of the base pieces is darker than the others.
