I was excited to try this product on several hyper-pigmented spots on my face and chest due to sun damage from my care-free teens and early twenties. The differences after 2 weeks of daily use are subtle, but noticeable. I think the darker the pigmentation in relation to your overall skin tone, the more you’d notice a change. The scent is almost clinical, which I actually appreciated because it felt like the makers weren’t diluting the efficacy of the ingredients for the sake of smell. It absorbed into my skin nicely and layered well with my other night skincare products. Overall, I’m very pleased and will be doing another round in 2-3 months as recommended.

These are not pads, it's a cream. That touts hydroquinone as its major active ingredient. I'm only used to using vitamin C to correct my hyperpigmentation, and I'm also currently breastfeeding, so, I am shying away from using anything I haven't previously had success with.

I received these to review. Unfortunately this product didn't seem to work at all for me. I tried in multiple places and multiple times but did not seem to notice any difference with the application of the product. I wasn't sure if I was using this correctly so I did go to their website and make sure I was using it and I was. I don't think I can recommend this product to anyone for my experience because I saw nothing different on the spots I applied it to.

The Accelerated Dark Spot Corrector from Specific Beauty for women of color is a pretty good product. Within 2 weeks I could see an improvement is some dark spots. A small amount of the product is all I needed. After application, the skin feels smooth. The only thing I didn’t 100% like was the scent of the product.

I like these because they were gentle. They didn't sting my face or cause any irritation or redness. I didn't notice a fragrance. They didn't smell medicinal, which I was expecting. That was a nice surprise. They were really soothing. The reason for 4 stars is because I didn't notice much of a difference in my dark spots. I hope to see better results in another week or two. I've been using them for a little over a week, so maybe I need more time for more noticeable results. Overall, they feel good on my skin and they haven't caused any negative reactions. My skin feels smooth and even less oily.

This review is for the Specific Beauty dark spot corrector. I used this product religiously twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night as directed on the box. I’ve been using it for two weeks. I have one particular dark spot that I was most excited to see fade and it’s made no difference at all. I also used it on some fresh acne marks and those definitely faded. Although, I’m sure they also would have faded on their own. I’m going to continue using it on the stubborn spot and hopefully it will fade. I am going to update this review.

I have not seen personal changes as of yet for 3 weeks of consistent use. I am going to give it a little more time but for now, I do not get any skin irritation and it feels nice to have on even when I wear it during the day. I tend to have sensitive skin so that is always a nice surprise. I will personally continue using the corrector until the bottle is gone and see if anything changes.
