Speck Apple iPhone SE (3rd/2nd generation) / iPhone 8/ iPhone 7 Presidio Grip Case - Black

Purchased this for my mom after her low-profile silicone cell phone case broke. She is so well pleased with it, she has been recommending it heartily ever since. The main reason I chose this case though I could have chosen others that were cheaper, slimmer, and more attractive (imo) was because this was the only case that did not have a Prop 65 warning attached to it at check or on the product itself. Positives according to my mom: +Phone has not slipped from her hand since she's placed the case on nearly a month ago. She feels the hold is 'very secure and safe'. +Does not have a toxic, chemical smell to it. Smells like nothing. +Material has not gotten slimy or slick like silicone cases do. +Phone has yet to slipped/slide off of any surface she has placed her cell phone on. Positives according to me, the Purchaser, not the User: +Does not have California's Proposition 65 warning* +target.com had the best price +Fits iPhone SE 2020 Negatives according to my mom: -No other color options available at target.com. She doesn't hate the black, but would have appreciated another color. -This can also be seen as a positive, but the case--once attached--we haven't been able to remove it--try as we might. *Another customer wrote that California's Prop 65 warning was stuck onto the product's box. I looked for the Prop 65 warning at checkout at three other online retailers--including Speck itself--I did not see it. In the end, I chose to order from target.com. The one we received did not have a Prop 65 warning on the product box. I can't provide picture-proof because my mom threw the product's box away. I can say that the case truly does not have a smell that I can detect.

It literally just arrived, so I am unsure about durability, however the case is pretty hard and the edges in the front are slightly raised…I’m guessing this could protect the phone if dropped on the front surface. I just really like how it looks. It’s easy to attach to your phone…well for me anyways.

Prop65, watch out. The warning is not anywhere on the listing but is on the box. I returned it.

Case is very protective and feels really good in my hand.

This case is great because not only does it protect it from drops but the texture helps you hold onto it much better.

Ridges on side and pack. I have shaking in my hands and it helps me grip the phone.

I like that these have the grip on the sides. I’ve been using speck cases for years and no phone has ever broke.

It is great if you want a more compact phone case. It isn’t bulky and fits in pockets great. It can be slippery and i’ve noticed it’s not as great of a grip as past cases from this brand but using a pop socket definitely helps!

The case cracked and I only had it a few days. Definitely because I have a toddler.
