Sprayway Glass Cleaner cleans all glass surfaces by dissolving dirt, grease, grit and grime. Remove protective cap. Hold dispenser upright. Point valve opening toward window or glass to be sprayed, holding about 8 to 12 inches away. Press button. Spray on fine mist and wipe clean. For best results, polish with a lint-free, cotton cloth, unplug energized electrical equipment prior to use. Not for use on non-glass flat panel TVS. Shake well before each use. A: Yes , it is !! Absolutely, I have used on tinted glasses , very good product!
submitted byCan74 - 8 years agoA: "Yes" it is safe.. I use it on my 2016 Avalon. I use it on the inside and the outside. Has no ammonia, so will not harm the tint. I always buy 3 cans at a time. When I'm down to the last can, I buy 3 more. Your windows will shine. I think it is the best on the market. (and great price)

Q: What is the pH of Sprayway glass cleaner? I want to clean mirrors and glass shower doors with it. But my countertops and shower tiles are all marble, and you should NEVER use anything acidic (pH < 7) around marble. Would Sprayway be safe to use?

A: On their SDS (safety data sheet) it says "9.1 - 10.1 estimated". So it's alkaline, not acidic. However for natural stone, I would try to find something between pH 7 and 8.

A: No, our product does not contain methyl alcohol. It does contain a small percentage amount of ethyl alcohol, which is not the same as methyl alcohol. Thank you. Sprayway

I love this stuff because unlike the spray bottles, this goes exactly where you spray it and doesn't run all over the place. It's concentrates on disolving the dirt on windows so you can just wipe it away.

Just got Renewal by Andersen windows and they make it clear that ammonia cleaners can’t be used so I got this. YUCK! It smells like a cheap old lady perfume. It’s a powdery chemical scent. Why does it need a scent? Scented windows…. I used it outside and told myself I wouldn’t be using it inside. It worked without leaving streaks so I guess it does what it says but THE SCENT. The container doesn’t specify what the scent is made of so one would assume phthalates and a concoction of other carcinogenic things. Minus two stars.

This is my go-to cleaner for mirrors and more. It’s one of the only products I’ve found that leaves my mirrors streak-free! The smell is mild and fresh, and the bottle lasts a long time. I don’t understand how this product is so popular. This is the WORST glass cleaner. It has an extremely strong synthetic and offensive odor that lingers for days. It is nauseating and repulsive and gives me a headache. Once you use it, it does indeed clean well and I like how it evenly foams BUT with time it develops a weird film that is VERY hard almost impossible to remove with any other cleaner. It’s not worth it. This is THE WORST window cleaner ever! Do NOT BUY!!!!

I bought this on a whim because I heard it works better than Windex, which I've used all my life. I'm here to say it really does. The foaming action is great and it doesn't streak. I don't love the smell but at least it doesn't irritate my lungs like some products do. Do yourself a favor and pick up a can of this stuff.
