While I like the included utensils and the metal, I wish the circle cup was large enough to fit an applesauce cup in it. Also, the metal was cracked, so I question how durable this is. Would not recommend.

Great quality and easy to clean
The stainless steel feels really nice and sturdy. I also like that the seals are easy to take out for cleaning and easy to put back after running them through the dishwasher. My daughter loves it. The reddish-brown and pink color combo is really cute and stylish.She is very happy with it!

In theory, this was a good idea. But the quality just does not stand up. You have to take the stainless steel part out when you wash it and I could not my husband had to do it. Then you have to take out the silicone lining in the lid. I hand washed everything and still could not get it back in there properly.

Nice bento box
This bento box is a great option for packing kids lunches on the go. The four divided compartments keep foods separate and organized, while the leakproof design helps prevent spills. I also love the stainless steel interior and extra space for cutlery. It’s durable, easy to clean, and perfect for school. The compartments are relatively small though, only good for kids up to primary school. Hope Target can design a bigger version, I would definitely get one for myself.

Had promise, but leaves a lot to be desired
I was really excited to see that Target was offering a stainless steel bento box option that wouldn't break the bank. Unfortuantely, one of the boxes arrived without the chopsticks. The compartments are also considerably smaller than their plastic counterparts which would make it difficult to pack a sandwich without cutting it up into miniscule pieces. Finally, this one does not come with an ice pack on the bottom. There really isn't an option to add your own, so it would need to be placed within the lunchbox to keep food cold. Overall, this turned out to be a major fail for us.

I have been looking for a stainless steel bento box for my son, and was excited when I saw this online. I purchased a cat and jack stainless steel box last year and was really happy with the construction. I have been trying to limit his exposure to micro plastics but have been trying to find a box with a matching lunchbox and book bag, so I was excited to find this. Unfortunately the box is mostly plastic, with just the insert stainless steel. It doesn’t really feel heavy or substantial, mostly just plastic.
