I needed a simple, stainless steel 12" skillet to replace an expensive skillet that I had never, ever liked. I thought I'd try this because, at the price, I could almost use it and toss it if I didn't like it. No tossing here. I really like it. So much for designer cookware.
My journey for the perfect pan. Threw out my ceramic, the coating deteriorated and I have to replace every year. Went to cast iron, followed all the directions, got a pre-seasoned, everything stuck. Returned it today. I bought this today and treated it like cast iron. When it warmed up, I wiped it with coconut oil and then put in two pieces of bread with holes in them and an egg in each, had a lid for it, perfect juicy eggs, no stick. I swear to heaven, nothing stuck. I bought the 10 inch, it had a good surface area and two pieces of bread fit well. I totally recommend this pan. It is fantasic. My cost was $20.00. The nice long handle never got hot when I was cooking.
I just tried this 12 fry pan I have a glass cooktop this is a great starter stainless steel pan. Calphalon warps on glass cooktops, All-Clad is expensive but worth collecting I have 2 but I have to say this pan is right up there with All-Clad great starter pan that won't break the bank
