Q: How close is the Taupe color from the standard Cream, or is the Sour Cream closer?

A: Hello - Thank you for reaching out with your question about the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Stanley cups. The Sour Cream is going to be more of a pure white versus the Taupe will have more of a brown hue. Unfortunately, I do not see a cream color listed to compare this to. Love the color, how it keeps things cold for so long and the handle. It seems to be a little tall for my car cup holders so I wish the skinny part was just a little shorter or maybe it’s b/c it’s a little too heavy so I’m the car it wants to lean, I have to watch it. Lays flat on any hard surface not moving though. I’d buy it again though.

I was obsessed when I saw this in the store, it was a gorgeous dark gray with a green tone to it (peat moss). Well I bought it and as soon as I walked outside I wanted to return it! In natural light it’s an olive/military shade of green. I was shocked that the difference from lighting was so drastic.
