Launch into action and adventure in the world of Star Wars! Discover the exciting stories of good versus evil in a universe of heroes, villains, and aliens. As a boy, Anakin showed amazing promise as a Jedi. Such were his talents that Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi defied the Jedi council to take him on as a padawan. He swiftly grew in strength becoming both an adept user of the Force, and extraordinarily skillful with his lightsaber. You can feel like Anakin Skywalker with this Extendable Lightsaber that extends for a duel with a flick of the wrist. Imagine the thrill of a heated battle with this and other role-play toys from Star Wars. Each sold separately.Star Wars products are produced by Hasbro under license from Lucasfilm Ltd. Who wouldn't love a light saber! This would be our fourth. Everyone in the family now has one so we can battle. They sometimes get stuck when trying to retract them. And they do show some dents and dings, but our kids are very rough on them, fighting chairs etc.
These lightsabers are the cheapest for a reason. They are not very high quality but lasted through some good battles and duels. If you are looking for something to play around with and not something that has many features (doesn't light up, make sounds, etc.) then this is the lightsaber for you! Worth it for the price.
Or maybe it was a bum product out of the package. The tip is stuck inside the lightsaber. Also compared to older lightsabers we have, these new ones are hard for small kids to release; requires a good hefty flick of the wrist to extend (no more button to release). Definitely feels like it's a downgrade. Called Hasbro consumer care, very friendly, but cannot say if we'll get a replacement of the same color, and as you know, the color of the lightsaber is very important, because who wants red (evil) when you are good, and vice-versa. IMHO, they should've upgrade the replacement to ensure a blue one and for the hassle.
