Starbucks Black Unsweetened Cold Brew Coffee - 40 fl oz

I just wrote a long review and it just disappeared on me!! 😩 Ok, so what I said was that it goes on sale often, so that is why I purchase it. Tastes very good and has subtle chocolate notes. I use it with ALOT of ice and the Silk brand creamer. The creamer sweetens it enough!. It almost tastes like chocolate milk! It is a very good tasting iced coffee and the calories are much lower than buying a sweetened version. The coffee taste is not very strong, but it doesn’t totally disappear behind the creamer, like a lot of iced coffees do. I could brew my own coffee and then cool it, but for some reason, these prepackaged iced coffees don’t hurt my stomach like say Folgers brewed coffee. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Add the nespresso instant roast- perfection with creamer.

I used to love this product, but I recently have had terrible experiences. I drank barely 3 oz and had to lie down for the next four hours with intense nausea and a pounding headache. Let me be clear: I drink a lot of strong coffee every day — including Starbucks coldbrew from their stores — and I’ve never had a reaction like this. Something was very wrong with the caffeine level or concentration in this bottle. Never buying it again. The level of caffeine varies WILDY and to dangerous levels.

I’ve drank this since it came on the market. I switch between the unsweetened and the sweet cream. As of late, the unsweetened seems off to me. The finish tastes like pencil shavings. 🤷‍♀️

It’s decent. It’s less watery tasting than Stok, but it has this weird smell and after taste similar to smoke. Maybe it’s chocolate?

The caffeine has been changed from 180mg to 255 per serving via the Pepsi co website without disclosing this at all. This is a huge increase & a shady practice.

I've been incredibly frustrated with Starbucks and the products they sell to have coffee at home lately. I've spent the last few days trying to figure out how much of this I want to drink at one time because too much caffeine makes me sick, so I've been looking for about how much there is per ounce. This information should be easy to find, but it isn't anywhere on the packaging and looking elsewhere has gotten me very few results. When I contacted the customer service chat, they didnt seem to understand what product i was looking for and gave me numbers for the cold brew concentrate. I haven't been able to find any information on this at all from anywhere I consider remotely reliable except for here, which says there's 180mg per 11oz. First of all, why is this number for 11oz if the serving size is 12 oz? I don't know where they pulled that info from and I don't trust that answer any more than any other I've found. I'm frankly done buying any Starbucks products to drink at home after they've made me hunt down very simple information for every single one only to get unreliable, confusing answers that don't tell me anything about how much I can safely drink. If I'm being generous, I would say that this is a major oversight on their part, but at this point, it's starting to feel like they're being deliberately vague about this for some reason.

Love this cold brew coffee! I saved so much money this Summer buying this instead of going through the drive through!

I like this cold brew very much. More expensive than the normal cold brew I buy but no natural flavors! Will continue to buy

Even without half & half, it tastes smooth. I can feel the (minor) caffeine kick drinking this first thing in the morning. Perfect with ice and half & half. A bit pricy but cheaper than purchasing coffee daily from Starbucks or Dunks - especially if you are a coffee afficionado.

Not crazy about the price increase but I’ll still buy it when it’s in sale. Tastes good, even without creamer. The americano version is a smidge better. Worth the try!

I would definetly reccomend; paired with vannila cold foam and vannila syrup it taste just like the vannilla sweet cream cold brew that you can get from starbucks.

the caffeine content is strong as it should be but it has a mild taste to it that's reminiscent of flat cappuccino. it's not bitter or anything but the flavor isn't very strong.

I’ve drank all the major bottled cold brews, ready to drink and concentrates. This is amongst the worst. Weird chemical plastic taste, lacks flavor, not great. Tastes nothing like Starbucks cold brew in store.

This tastes almost identical to our cold brew. Definitely pair it with other sweeteners or creamers if you want a similar taste to our vanilla sweet cream cold brews. I use the Chobani french vanilla creamer!
