The perfect morning brew

Good, all-around blonde roast!

This coffee is a good all-around ground espresso roast - versatile in ways you can brew it whether percolator, French press, pour-over etc - slightly course, with that signature Starbucks char to it, but light enough that it's very mass appealing and approachable for the occasional coffee drinker. Grind is consistent, flavor is good, aftertaste mild - even after tasting fine coffees around the world, I enjoy coming back to this one on occasion!

This was my first time trying blonde espresso so I went in figuring it would be a little less intense than regular ground espresso. I can say I did not notice any difference between the two on intensity or caffeine levels. The packaging is standard, nothing innovative but don't fix what isn't broke. I found it to be a pleasant smooth cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Starbucks coffee is perfect for someone like me who enjoys a smooth, slightly bitter espresso. I’ve been working from home recently, so I’ve been looking for something quick to brew that’s also delicious. Starbucks ground blonde espresso line excels it’s light has a natural, sweetness, and it pairs perfectly with milk. I tried an iced latte, and it was incredibly addictive. The thick smooth creme was top notch, a true barista skill. These mornings I don’t need to rush to the café anymore. I can just relax and brew myself a cup of this it’s enough to keep me alert and energized for the whole workday and it’s incredibly saver too.

New favorite coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was delighted when this coffee arrived at our doorstep. We normally only have dark roast coffee in the house and shy away from blonde roasts because they're not robust enough for him but thought we'd give the Blonde Espresso Roast a try. Boy did this one surprise is with its rich, robust, full-flavored (but not overbearing) goodness! And it smells so good in the bag and while brewing. We've added this to our normal daily coffee rotation with our favorite Starbucks dark blends.

The grind size was a bit large and coarse, which made brewing this in my espresso machine a challenge. I think a whole bean version would improve the experience quite a bit.

Makes great iced coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brewed it specifically to make iced coffee because I love their bottled blonde roast iced coffee. It’s definitely a bit bolder as it’s an espresso roast but it avoids any sort of burned or chemical aftertaste. It’s really good!
