The Step2 My First Christmas Tree lets little ones participate in tiny holiday traditions of their very own! The durable plastic construction lets kids "decorate" their own little tree without the worry of breaking fragile ornaments. It even comes with a toy train set that runs around the base. And it's just the right height for them to put the star on the top of the tree all by themselves!
Cute product-exactly what I was expecting. Bulbs sit in grooves on the tree & also have grooves on the base to sit in. It is sturdy-our daughter sometimes uses to pull herself up to standing. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the train does not seem to be of the same quality as the rest of the tree/ornaments. Our daughter still puts toys in her mouth & I worry about the wheels of the train coming loose. We just took the train away for this year.
I bought this tree last year for my kids before Christmas with the intentions of it being our only tree. My daughter was just a few months at the time and my son was 2 he absoultly loved it! He's already asking when we can put it up this year I honestly didnt think he would remember but he does.
We received this as a early gift this past Christmas. I dont love "seasonal" type toys but this was a game changer. My one year old loves it so much we still have it out and will likely keep it up all year round or until we rotate the next round of toys. The "decorative bulbs" sit on little grooves in the tree which is great for coordination. Sturdy, easy set up, many ways to incorporate learning (colors, counting etc). Great gift! Great alternative to a real tree if you are worried about pesky little hands :)
