Q: I would like to know if they are completely lead free or just under the level allowed. I would also like to know where they are made- China? Target- is all hearth and hand made in China?

Q: Do these break easily when dropped? I have other Corelle dishes that my kids have dropped quite a bit, and I'm looking for new plates to use every day and look GREAT!

I received this as a gift for Christmas. While I do love the look of them, three of them have now chipped in six months. They are very hard to stack as they don’t fit nicely on each other, and we can only do half as many dishes now in the dishwasher.

I read the reviews before placing the order, all those pictures looked different so I ordered both colors. Today I received them and I can't wait opening the packages, for people cannot decide which color to buy here is my summary - Sour Cream: Blue gray color, with brown/goldish rim. More dark brown dots on the plate. Gray: Cool light grey color, with darker grey rim. Light brown-ish dots on the plate which are not so obvious. There is a spiral pattern in the center, where those sour cream plates don't have. I decided to keep those 'sour cream' ones as they looks cleaner. Hope this helps.

Despite the 1-star, I do like these plates. I love the "appetizer" size. However the "sour cream" color is just SO misleading. This set is NOT white with speckles and a gold trim. Instead, it is a gray blue with speckles and a coffee-tan trim. But I bought the entire set so I am committed (eye roll). They are pretty, just NOT AT ALL like the photos
