Comfortable and very easy to put together.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Chair broke when I went to stand up with my 16 week old son.

Great at first! But after 8 months it became unusable due to unfixable creaking noise. Unfixable due to the way it is built. Good luck trying to rock a baby to sleep

Assembly was simple, as most of it was already put together. The chair is comfortable, sturdy, and glides easily. I am happy with this purchase.

After 1 year the bearings disintegrated and chair cracks, pops and squeaks constantly. It does not look easy to repair and I'm having troubles finding replacement parts.

love this chair. very comfy, was very easy to put together by myself at 7 months pregnant. a fraction of the price of high end furniture stores but same quality! relieved in a week from ordering, VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE

Very Comfortable & Looks Great!

Within a month of using this chair one if the springs on the seat broke. We were able to replace it but made it rather uncomfortable. Now, after about 11 months of use, the bottom part of the glider snapped out and broke to the point of being unfixable. Very disappointed as my baby is not even a year old yet.

It's extremely comfortable and glides smoothly back and forward. The back cushion extends high enough to lay my head back onto it it makes it extremely comfortable. Included is an extra large "throw" pillow I loved this and know it's going to be used all the time plus I can wash it. Having pockets on both sides built in the length of the arm is a brilliant idea. The footrest is the perfect height for me to comfortably extend my legs putting my feet up for smooth gliding!

It is very comfy to sit in and I love that it comes with the little back pillow. My 15 month old likes sitting in my lap to read in it and I look forward to seeing how it stands up to nursing when my next little one comes. I like that it is two strong simple colors (I got the grey and white) so it matches well with my white theme but contributes the grey as well to make it not look overwhelming white in the nursery. It was very easy to put together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our second pregnancy and child, so I was concerned that our furniture - especially the glider we had used with our first - would not be comfortable enough during my postpartum recovery. It had not been enjoyable the first time around and we were shopping for new seating. This glider is a dream for comfortable nursing/pumping, story time, and occasional naps. Our previous glider was an old hand-me-down that creaked every time you moved. It made rocking our eldest son to sleep very difficult, because as soon as he was on the verge of sleep, it would suddenly sound like the glider was about to collapse into many pieces. This Storkcraft glider is a huge upgrade for many reasons. This was quite easy to assemble. The glider came in only a few pieces, and while the arms were a bit tricky to attach, it was WORTH IT. We chose the black glider with gray cushions as the other furniture in our nursery is gray, and I thought that with two kids it was smart to have something dark as opposed to light that will show dirt and stains. It matches the other furniture in the room perfectly. I love that the glider is absolutely silent, and the ottoman is wonderful for putting your feet up. I have been dealing with some extreme postpartum swelling, so having the ottoman makes putting my feet up quite easy and comfortable. The little pockets on the sides are nice for storing books and matchbox cars. I’m sure you will find things to tuck into them that suit your child’s needs. My newborn loves the sway of the glider and rocks to sleep so easily - I am still adjusting to the success rate this time around. It is SO smooth. The cushions are absolutely heavenly - I have fallen asleep multiple times unintentionally already. It's my favorite piece in our nursery right now and I cannot wait to use it more in the coming months. I HIGHLY recommend - it is worth paying a bit more to have something that will rock and sooth your child to sleep without creaking and waking them when you attempt to transition them to their crib. You also don't have the fear of it crumbling beneath you. Plus it's so comfortable you are going to want to sit in it after a long day of work (either in our out of the home)! It's something we will continue to use long after our kids age out of the rocking phase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of amazing! It has a silent gliding mechanism and the motion is incredibly smooth. The fabric is wipeable and easy to clean (even vacuumed up dog hair easily!) The chair is easy to reposition when needed, not overly heavy. Love that it came mostly pre-assembled! Just a few parts to put together and the cushions. The armrests also have discreet pockets which are perfect for the remote, extra pacifiers etc. The only improvement I would make is to add a brake to the set, so that you could make the chair or footrest stationary when desired. Other than that, this is a perfect set, look forward to the time I'll spend nursing my son in it.

This glider features a grey microfiber fabric paired with a dark wood base. It offered the sleekness we were looking for, with a color variation that pulls the room together. This glider also comes with a matching ottoman, which will be heavenly in offering a comfy place to put up our feet during those sleepless nights with our newborn. It was very simple to put together, as it was almost 95% set up upon arrival. All we had to do was attach the base and hook on the cushions! It took less than 10 minutes. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't always think a glider was one of those necessary items when it came to nursery furniture. However, now that we have one, I wouldn't go back. Not only are gliders multi-purpose, as they can be used in the nursery and as extra seating for guests, they also offer a quiet nook where mom, dad, and baby can read, sing, eat, and spend one-on-one time together. Especially in the first few months of life, the glider's soothing motion simulates the womb, which can help calm a fussy baby. Studies show that laying a baby on the parent's chest versus an electric rocking swing offers many lifelong bonding benefits between parent and child. Bonds that are essential to create in the first year of life.

This glider is hands down the most used item in my nursery. I have spent countless hours rocking my baby and toddler on this glider, and it's just as smooth as when I first opened it. The cushions are SO soft that it feels like I'm laying on a cloud. The pockets are conveniently placed so I'm not fumbling around in the middle of the night trying to find my phone. I love the design on the cushions themselves and it fits perfectly into the nursery. I can't wait to spend more hours with my baby gliding back and forth!

We were so happy when Storkcraft gifted us with this glider, it’s so perfect in our little girl’s nursery! Very comfortable, great design and pretty easy to assemble! We are excited to get to use it a lot in a few weeks, but I could say already that is an essential for the nursery!

Seems okay. Comments have been made that is looks a bit cheap compared to the photos which I would agree on. The material is rough and scratchy not soft as appears in photos. However it seems like it may at least repel liquid which is nice for a newborn. The color is also patterned not solid taupe as I thought based on the picture. It’s taupe with white dots everywhere. Seems comfortable enough and was easy to assemble. we’ll see how it holds up.

My son was excited to put this chair together, after assembling it, he decided to sit in it, To test it. He set in it for the 1st time and it cracked in the front. Everyone heard it and everyone was in shock. With him only being 172Ibs, I was devastated. It’s a shame. The wood is so cheap. I called myself paying more money so it would last.

Item came just as we had hoped. Great condition and very very easy to put together. Just anxiously awaiting our little bundle of joy to out to use!
