I quit making this from scratch after tasting Stouffer's version. It reminds me of my time in the Navy and the great food served on submarines.see moreof the reviewer's review

I have been using this for over 20 years and I know what it “should” taste like and I always recommend it to everyone. I just made five boxes and can’t get one to taste or smell anywhere close to good. Really has some sort of chemical/rancid smell. Please get to the bottom of this issue and bring...see moreof the reviewer's review

My husband and I used to love Stouffers creamed chip beef but today we noticed a significant taste change (in addition to the box change). Much more watered down and lacks flavor. Sad... please change back to the original recipe.see moreof the reviewer's review

I've been eating this for years so I hope Stouffer's keeps making it! Try mixing in sliced hard-boiled eggs (one egg per person) and serving it over thick, buttered toast (brioche if you can find). I do not find this to be too salty but maybe the addition of the eggs and using thicker bread helps ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Decent but Salty and a Bit Misleading

As some other reviews have said, the product tastes fine but is surprisingly salty, even for someone like me who keeps a personal salt shaker at my desk (I even salt my spaghetti!). That aside, the flavor itself is passable (how high can the standard be for SOS?) and much better than expected fro...see moreof the reviewer's review

I’ve eaten this many times over the years when I don’t feel like making my own with Armour Dried Beef. Delicious, as are most Stouffer’s products.see moreof the reviewer's review
