Q: Can this shampoo strip color treated hair?

A: Most any shampoo will strip some color. This one is pretty gentle and the color fades a lot more slowly compared to other shampoos. I only use it on the roots though. Then co-wash all over w/ S&S.

Bring back the original Ultra Sleek & Smooth Shampoo and condition which was a truly salon quality product. This is clearly a poor substitute. Shampoo strips all moisture from the hair leaving it brittle and the conditioner is a must to restore it to barely there softness.. the scent is awful and overpowering as well. What in the world is this? Why bother at all?

This shampoo is a staple in my home. I use it with head and shoulders . I had dandruff and this helped it go away. I use a silicone scalp scrubber with this mix of shampoos. Chefs kiss ! Heart is soft and clean.

After reading reviews I thought I’d give it a try as I finished my Chi shampoo and conditioner and was on the hunt for new products. I was skeptical because I’ve used many high end products but found that I was wrong. My hair is thick, course and highlighted to cover grays. I used the shampoo and conditioner and noticed no frizziness after my shower! I blow dry my naturally curly hair and flat iron my curls and only wash on the third day. No frizzies near my scalp whatsoever! This duo is a game changer.

Leaves hair shiny after using straightener, however, it creates buildup that actually causes sores on scalp. Hair gets greasy within 24 or less hours, if you use without cond impossible to brush, I use cond at ends only so with that, gets gross feeling a lot sooner. The build up is the main issue. Trying another product.

My hair was soo dry from my previous shampoo I bought the suave silk protein infusion sleek and smooth and just using the shampoo my hair felt amazing, smooth, and relaxed before even using the condioner. And I also noticed I didn't have no where near the amount of hair loss after using this product. Finally a shampoo and conditioner worth buying .

This is for all the thick hair, dry/coarse hair ladies that need a lot of moisture - This is a wonderful replacement for Suave's old Macadamia Oil products!! I was really upset when Suave discontinued the Macadamia Oil hair products because they really worked so well for my very thick, very coarse hair. Then I saw that Suave redesigned their product line over the past few years so I ordered the items that seemed like closest replacements & YES the ingredients are almost an exact match to the old bottle (M. Oil) that I have - AND this works way better than the high end "R-----" brand that I tried.

Love this so much. Easy on the wallet. Makes my hair feel clean and soft and not weighed down. It seems to be like the older formula from years ago that I loved. It changed at one point and I couldn’t use it anymore. Decided to try it again and I love it so much. And the smell is nice and light and clean. Not too perfumy like some shampoos are becoming. Thanks suave!

This does not control frizz like it says it does. It made my hair frizzy. However, I give it 3 stars because it made my hair soft and made it stronger because of the silk amino acids.

I’ll start off with I only gave 4 stars because this is advertised as a pump bottle and it isn’t. My grandma with dementia needs what’s easiest and this won’t work for her so I decided to use it for myself. My hair is long and thick. Very frizzy and usually my roots get oily quick. I normally use sulfate free shampoo I have for a couple years but after using this I think I’m realizing my hair needs sulfates and not all sulfates are bad. It’s all about the ingredients. Cheap doesn’t mean it’s bad. My hair was so smooth and silky after using this I didn’t even need to style it which is crazy for my thick hair. I use to use suave all the time but believed it to be toxic for a long time but it’s just about ingredients. Everything is a chemical. Use what is best for your hair and body. Also, I have sensitive skin and this is such a light scent I didn’t have any reaction.
