Q: I can't get the suction to hold with the hard plastic surround,please help

A:Â Hello - Sorry you're having trouble with that. Try this: Wipe the tail spot with rubbing alcohol. Bend your soap dish at the hinge, all the way up, and press it against the tail wall. Keep pressing and at the same time, slowly bend down the dish. As you bring the dish down, it will activate the suction. We hope these instructions work for you. - Mikayla

Hold multiple heavy bars of soap no problem. Follow directions or else you will be like the other 50% of reviewers that didn’t and they left a bad product review when in fact it was the consumer that failed. Clean spot on shower wall with rubbing alcohol and suction cup on product with rubbing alcohol. Do not bend the soap tray to straighten it out into place until it is suctioned onto the wall. Put a couple drops of water into suction cup before sticking it onto wall. <—- but all of that is written in the instructions. Follow them and you have an inexpensive yet solid soap dish holder. Mine hasn’t budged at all, even with multiple large bars of soap in it.

Perfect soap holder for the shower. You can place it high enough that it doesn’t get soaked by the shower spray (unlike the built in soap holder in our shower over tub). Read the reviews / directions for how to attach it to the wall. It’s crazy that the actual item comes with no directions! That said, once you figure them out this thing sticks amazingly and cannot be knocked off.

Wouldn't suction to my tile or glass shower doors. Fell off after about 24hrs. It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to flip the cup and create a secure connection with the wall, but it didn't stay on for long. Unfortunate as I have no shelved in my shower.

Not sure why other reviewers had such a hard time getting this to stick. You simply have to make sure that when you have the tray part upright, you secure the suction cup to the wall by pushing the plastic center connection between the tray & the suction cup, then simply flip the tray down & it’s very secure. If you don’t do this way, it will almost immediately fall off if anything is put on it. I also like that I can easily remove it to clean.

I'm about to order another one of these for my bar shampoos. I've had this for a few months and it's very sturdy. It has held an extra big bar soap and razor without any issues. It has not moved, fell, slipped down in the least. I followed the instructions another posted here and it worked perfectly!

Holds weight well and suctions onto the wall tightly! I read the reviews and I was wary about the weight it could hold so before I put my shampoo and conditioner bar in it, I tugged down on it roughly and there was no sign of slipping off! It definitely could be because of the material of my shower walls though. I also didn't wait the 24 hours nor did I wipe with an alcohol wipe but it's got a great grip.

It did not suction onto my shower wall, but that could be because of the tile. I also think the slits at the bottom can cause a mess because the soap drips through. The best thing I can say is that at least two bars of soap can fit in there.
