About this item

Lauren Conrad's second L.A. Candy book opens with the red carpet premiere of season two of the red-hot reality show starring Jane Roberts. But everything isn't as hunky dory as Jane's smiles make it look for the photographers. After Madison's nasty betrayal of her last season, Jane has decided that sticking by her true friends is key. Not dating is equally as important, because boys lead to trouble with a capital T. Of course, when a couple of boys who Jane has history with show up, she conveniently forgets all about her big plans. At the same time, her best friend Scarlett is having boy troubles of her own, namely with her very jealous boyfriend, Liam. How are the girls going to cope, especially when a terribly secret is revealed?
Now a full-fledged starlet, Jane Roberts attempts to rid herself of Hollywood fakes, including boys, but when both her L.A. crush, Braden, and her high school sweetheart, Caleb, show up on her doorstep, she has trouble remembering her "no boys" rule. 500,000 first printing.

I really enjoyed Lauren Conrad's previous books LA Candy and Sweet Little Lies. This book was a bit of a let down, it was not nearly as good as the others. I think the story could have been told in 2 books and a 3rd was not necessary, it seemed like there was not very much substance in the third boo...see moreof the reviewer's review
