Perfect for potty training your child, the Step-by-Step Potty Trainer and stepstool by Summer Infant is a complete potty training system. with a built-in lid and toilet tissue holder, this potty helps parents encourage and teach important hygiene habits. This versatile training seat progresses with your child from a stand alone trainer, to a toilet topper training seat, and a stepstool.
I love the features of this potty. Design is great and I love the fact that you can use it in many different ways as your child grows. Most importantly, my son loves to sit on it too! He giggles each time I put him on it . I recommend this for any mom looking to buy a multipurpose potty
Cute potty trainer with bright colors. Don't really use the toilet paper holder since we still use wipes to clean. Would suggest rubber stoppers on the bottom of potty so it can stay in place. It tends to move on our tile floor when daughter gets on. Have to place it up against a wall to prevent from scooting around.
I was looking for a potty with a soft/foam type seat and a removable urine guard (which terrifies me with little boys...worried about getting sensitive parts hurt on a hard plastic ledge!). This was literally the only unisex potty I could find and we have liked it so far (potty training my daughter currently). She seems comfortable on it and has successfully gone several times. The bowl is completely removable so you can empty contents in to the regular toilet; additionally, I am cleaning it right away afterwards with the antibacterial Method all purpose cleanser (non toxic for kids). That has worked REALLY well so far so hoping that continues!
The shipping was a bit of a confusing fiasco, however, the product is the same any way it got here... I purchased this particular potty because of the soft seat. My 20 mo daughter has been using a soft reducer for several months, as long as I am there with her (it's pretty high up, and very unsafe/challenging for her to do it alone.) She really digs her new potty, which we use without the TP holder & wipes (fun for the kids, big mess for Mama.) I gave it 4 stars because to use the thing as the intended step stool would be dangerous. It has very very little grip on the floor, and would require added rubber pieces to keep it still. We will not be using it for that purpose. Overall, it's cute, soft-seated, and, well, it's s potty!!
