Q: Would this get too hot/stuffy for Texas Springs/Summers?

A: I would be surprised if it wasn’t too hot and stuffy. My experience with fabric has been that in the late spring, summer, and early fall, I have to have at least 50% cotton in order to have the fabric breathe at all‼️ if you have central air, this would not be any problem, but we don’t.

This is a gorgeous golden quilt. The velvet side is extra soft and pillowy. The full/queen leans more queen which helps it drape nicely (full size bed). The hue “changes” depending how light hits it, which makes it even more pretty. It’s lightweight enough for late Summer and Fall but you need to layer with heavier bedding for Winter. I was able to snag the matching shams!

Loooove the color of the burnt rustic orange and the feeling of the crushed velvet! It’s not too hot to sleep with in the summer and is machine washable! Great quality and has held up well over 6 months now and being washed!

It’s soft and warm, but not too warm to use year round. I like that one side is velvet and the other is linen. It hangs over the edge of my queen mattress longer than most queen-size comforters. The color is a true emerald. No complaints

So far this seems like a durable quilt. Very happy with the weight too, not too heavy nor too light it can be flung around by wrestling dogs. It’s hard to find a yellow quilt like this and stylish without tossing out a bunch of money, very happy with purchase!

I really love Opalhouse bedding, especially the velvet pieces. I previously had the thicker velvet quilt from a few years back that was available in green, teal, yellow, hot pink, grey, and the color of this quilt in coral. I really wanted the orange but could never find it so I got the green quilt. I saw this was available and on sale. I can’t believe I was able to get my hands on it lol. It is so soft (softer than the previous velvet blankets) and comfortable. The color is gorgeous. I love the weight of the quilt. It’s not too heavy, and not too thin. The stitching and sheen of the velvet really elevates my room and looks so good. I also have too cats and this quilt is holding up well. The color is perfect year round and looks great with the matching shams. I am obsessed with this quilt and can’t wait to break out my black sheets to pair with it for fall/halloween. If you see it, get it!

I love this quilt! I had been eyeballing it for a while. I finally gave in and bought it. I have no regrets. It washed and dried well. The velvety side is super soft. I love that the back side is a darker shade of coral. It adds texture and a pop of color to the bed when folded down.

Incredibly soft, well sewn, and has held up well with the 3 dogs and cats that regularly cuddle up in bed with me. Usually not my color or design but I've been trying to replace my comforters with velvet quilts. Target had a clearance section & I saw this while browsing. Orange is not a color I like but it was $30 so I kept going back to it. I finally bought it figuring it was only $30 & at least it wasn't bright orange. I got it home & tried it to see if I was going to be able to make it work before washing it. It actually looked really nice once on a bed & the color didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.im much more a neutral type of girl. It seems well made & has washed well. It's not as heavy as a couple of my other quilts which is nice. It was a deal finding it on clearance. I wouldn't have bought it full price but only because of the color, not the quality.

I love the crap out of this quilt. I’ve been wanting it for months so when it went on sale I nabbed it. I love the thickness - I live in the northeast so it’s chilly throughout a good chunk of the year and it’s a good weight to have without needing an extra blanket. The orange color is also gorgeous and the velvety texture? *chefs kiss*
