The Best Inexpensive Iron Yet!

5 out of 5 stars

I purchased this iron about a month ago after my Black & Decker iron died after 4 yrs of faithful service. I LOVE the steam shot feature. Ironing is no longer a chore. I haven't had to use the "self-cleaning" feature, but I happy to have the option. I am actually buying another one for a family ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Fantastic Product-Sunbeam Iron

5 out of 5 stars

Great iron, smaller than others, but don't let the size fool you. It worked well on all fabrics, takes tap water, steam level is great, and has an auto shut off. The only thing missing is a retractable cord, but for me, that is no big deal. I have another Sunbeam that is bulky and too large for me. ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I received this iron as a sample to review and when I found out the price, I was very surprise. This iron performs like a high end product but with a great price. I love how the iron has an easy to read temperature dial. The steam feature also is adjustable. The iron gets out wrinkles with ease and ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I love this iron!! I also own a very expensive Rowenta ($100+) However, this particular Sunbeam Classic Iron is lighter, easier to use, self cleaning and meets my needs perfectly.see moreof the reviewer's review

Non-Stick finish peels at high temp

(would not recommend)

I really liked the style and price of this iron so when the non-stick coating first one started bubbling and peeling, I took a chance and bought another one thinking it was just a fluke. Now I have 2 irons with the same issue. This time I'm bringing it back for a refund.see moreof the reviewer's review

Target sold me the iron in the attached photo claiming that it was new. When I opened the package, it was horribly dirty, damaged, and scratched up. Stay away.see moreof the reviewer's review

Iron Broke First Day

(would not recommend)
1 out of 5 stars
djwinchell 3 years ago
This iron broke the first time I tried to use it. It leaked water all over. I heard crackling sounds. Later I realized I could see wiring through cracks in the body. It must have short-circuited and broke the first time I tried to use it. Sunbeam has gone way down in quality.see moreof the reviewer's review
