The item is misleading. Pictures and descriptions show for the Anniversary Edition game. But this is only for the game itself. Not a huge deal, but definitely a bummer. I was excited to get the book and the little extras with the anniversary edition packaging, but received only the standard game. Just and FYI for others.

The original felt like the controls had more weight to them, its tough to describe though. This one plays just fine if you havent played the original, but long term fans of the series will definitely notice the difference.

If you liked Banana Blitz, or any of the gamecube monkeyball games. This tried to recreate the love that the gamecube is, but didn't succeed. The game engine is suuuuper touchy, and makes the mini games like target not as fun, the main game is much more difficult, even different than blitz. Hopefully they can resolve some of these things in an update, otherwise its just an iffy port. :/

Super fun game especially if you played the originals on gc. My only complaints are the cutscene replacements and the game engine is a lil wonky so things like the monkey target mini game doesn't work very well :/
