The Omni Swaddle Sack™ with Adjustable Wrap and uniquely-shaped ½-length sleeves with mitten cuffs is the Ideal Swaddle. The ergonomic and convertible design supports more natural hand and arm positions and provides parents with more options when preparing baby for safe sleep. The design allows parents to swaddle with (1) arms up, (2) hands up, and (3) arms on chest under the wrap. The sleeves with mitten cuffs keep baby's arms warm and parents do not need to dress baby in a bodysuit. Foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed, parents can open the cuffs, so baby can self-soothe by sucking on hands or close the cuffs to protect baby from facial scratches. Many experts recommend parents to swaddle baby with hands within reach of mouth, so baby can self-soothe. Babies who can self-soothe sleep longer and better. When baby is swaddled with hands up or arms up, baby can self-soothe by sucking on hands. The ergonomic, patented design with 2-way zipper is easy to use. The adjustable wrap is narrow and does not interfere with baby's hips and the soft hook-and-loop fasteners make it easy to swaddle baby. The 2-way zipper allows parents to unzip from the bottom to check baby's diaper without unwrapping the swaddle. The 2-way zipper makes it easy to place baby in the sack by unzipping from the top. Small 6-14 lbs, 0-3m. When baby is over 3 months or baby shows signs of attempting to rollover, the AAP recommends that parents stop restraining baby's arms with a swaddle or wrap. This swaddle sack worked for weeks 0-3 for our baby. I liked the easy to use zipper and the velcro swaddle portion. The arms could be a bit difficult to fold comfortably down but I like that the arm sleeves added some extra warmth to the swaddle sack, making this a great option for overnight sleeps. The length is on the short side, our little guy outgre the length by 3 weeks so we had to retire this swaddle sack earlier than expected.

This is our favorite swaddle of keababies, halo and other sleep sacks. I like that you can zip them up and wrap them tightly and not worry about suffocation. It also has a hands up option for later on, I wouldn’t use that for infants just because it’s a little big in the hands which allows extra fabric next to the infant’s face.
