Sweet Loren's Gluten Free Vegan Flaky Puff Pastry - 8.5oz

These were great. I made guava & cream cheese pastelillos they were so good! I really missed eating those but glad I was able to eat after a few years. I will be buying to make more.

Worst puff pastry for so much money!! Got this because Pepperidge was not available and it was soooo bad. Trying to finish up but not worth even 1/4th the price

Each package contains ONE sheet of gluten-free puff pastry, which surprised me a little at the price point. That said, I used these to make basically a berry cream cheese danish, following a recipe from the Pies & Tacos website called "Cream Cheese Puff Pastry" and it was 10/10, they were gone in the same day. This puff pastry tasted just like the real thing and I had zero reaction to it, of course. They didn't brown very much in the oven, so don't expect them to change much visually, it's easy to overcook them if you're expecting that.

I made samosas with this dough and they were delicious. I deep fried them to a golden brown. I will be making these again.

If you know how to cook and you're gluten free, this can be used for so many things!!! It's so nice to have an allergen friendly product. For those that say it's hard, they are overcooking it. Start with less time and check it as every oven is different!

I'm absolutely addicted to this pastry! Every week I use it to make one of the recipes from the sweet Loren's recipes. I also sent a case to my friend and she is in love too! _x000D_ _x000D_ My turnovers aren't pretty but they are delicious pic included

Great gluten free option

If you’re looking for puffy flakey pastry this is NOT it! I followed all the instructions and it didn’t puff up at all and was so hard like cardboard when I taste tested it.. sooooo disappointed! For NINE dollars I expected some beautiful and delicious pastry, but again, this is NOT it.

Love this so much. It’s pricey but thankfully in the only person in my family who is celiac. I’ve made so many different things with this. Hot pocket, cranberry and Brie pastry, Cinnamon twist (brushed in butter)and pigs in a blanket.

Our first time trying this brand was an awful experience. The pastry was NOT fluffy at all, it was extremely hard, when we put it in the oven it was SIZZLING instead of actually baking (probably because of all the oil the pastry spewed out) and when we took off the paper mache it was completely oily! I have no idea that was even possible to begin with because we never had that issue with other brands. I never had any issues with any other brand but this will be the last time me and my family get this brand.

It’s… somewhat similar to regular puff pastry. I can feel some flaky texture, but the flavor? It tastes weird… I didn’t really enjoy it much. I guess that’s the best you can get from a puff pastry dough that doesn’t have gluten or butter.

Thank you. I am finally able to make one of my wife's favorite comfort foods, chicken pot pie. Delicious! I also made mini chile rellenos and they were devoured in minutes.

This works really well as a basicl puff pastry crust if you are looking to make some sweets or savory items you maybe haven't had in a while. I've not been a huge fan of Sweet Loren's other items but this one did it for me. I've used this PP for galettes and other items and it has been consistently easy to work with. Do not expect this to puff like a gluten-y puff pastry would but you do get a nice crust and puff from it and it is honestly really tasty. Anything filled will need a few minutes longer to bake so keep that in mind. Given the cost, not something I would use all the time but def worth the splurge every so often. Can't wait to see what else I can use this for :)

Finally!! A great gluten free puff pastry dough!!! It's awesome. Easy to work with. Use it before the date though- you can't freeze this.

Incredible. 100/5. I’ve made peach tarts, pies, croissants, etc for myself (gluten free) and my vegan partner. Incredible. Wow This product is incredible. I’ve come to target multiple times exclusively for this item, and ended up spending $100. Please never get rid of it.
