Vinyl sounded awful had to take it back unfortunately

Target was supposed to have seven copies of an album I wanted. I went there on Friday morning the day it was supposed to be released. I asked the stock boy and he went in the back to look and said he couldn’t find it! He said I was welcome to come back later in the week or check another store. The next day I ordered it online for store pickup. They took my order and then the next day they cancelled it saying it was out of stock!

The album is amazing.

As usual, Gwen sings from her heart, which she wears on her sleeve with pride. Most of the songs on this album describe true love after a bad relationship ends, and the results are relatable, catchy tunes with an “older rock” vibe with just a hint of country on a few songs but not overly abundant (which is good because I hate country hahaha). This is definitely not her usual sound, but as we know, Gwen has always been one for genre-bending & combining, so this should not be a surprise to anyone. Each album of hers (and No Doubt), has a distinct sound so this is no different. I only wish it had more songs on it! Do I wish she would release more ska/reggae/dance music? I do lol. But this new album is still great and I’m not complaining!

The songs are awesome and the whole album is so easy to listen to! I don’t skip any songs and just listen to it in repeat!

Very listenable album makes sense that Gwen would write an album that reflects where she is now in life. Most of the songs are about finding the love of her life it’s very easy to listen to this album on repeat because it’s so enjoyable The vinyl version is beautiful and has two double-sided posters .

This album is her most intimate , it’s like she is reading her diary. So kudos to Gwen for sharing , some songs just make me want to cry tears of joy for her!

My favorite album 2024! Based on Gwen's personal experience. The lyrics are so beautiful and meaningful. No track is skippable.
