Don't buy, quits working
the purple wet mop quits spraying. I cleaned the heads and squeezed the spray bottle and changed the batteries and still does not work!!!!! This is the second one I've bought that has done this.

We recommend ensuring the following: ⦁ The solution bottle is clicked securely into place with the arrow or narrow side of the bottle label facing the pole. ⦁ The solution bottle is not empty; if it is, replace it with a new one. ⦁ The batteries are fresh AA alkaline batteries from the same package, inserted correctly, and that the battery door is fully closed until it clicks. Product does not spray
Purchased a wet jet less than a year ago. The sprayer never did work well. Changed the batteries and now it doesn’t work at all. Tried to return to the store but was told to contact company. Can’t find a contact number. Reading other reviews seems to be a common problem.

Not Good
I bought this 11 months ago, did not keep my receipt, and now it has quit. It does not spray. Such a waste. I do not recommend Swiffer WetJet mop at all.

Pads rip after a few passes on the floor
Every single pad in the box rips after a few passes on our smooth laminate floors. We never had issues before, but for the past two months each box we get fails. We have bought boxes of pads from a few different places. We have has the same floors for a few years. Just disappointed 😞

I was very disappointed - I bought Swiffer® WetJet™ Mop Starter kit in January 2026 and only used a few times but now it has stopped spraying. I have tried new batteries, checking for clogs, and new solution. My old mop lasted years. Of course I do not have the receipt now.

Lacking in instructions
I live alone so was looking for an easy way to do bathroom and kitchen floors. After reading reviews I went with Swiffer Wet Jet. Everything was included to clean the floors except for one item -- instructions on assembling it. I shouldn't say that but very brief "Connect; Insert; Attach ...; Load ..". There are three buttons; but what are they for: which way does the bottle go in; how do you assemble the handle? Pretty bad for the average consumer.

Similar to the other reviews, my Swiffer WetJet stopped spraying after just a few months and could not be fixed. My previous swiffer was powered by four batteries and lasted over a decade. This one has less power and broke after just a few months I cannot recommend.

The Swiffer WetJet Surface Cleaner Refill lavender and vanilla scent, is absolutely amazing. I love the smell of fresh cleaned floors especially when I used chemical cleaners before but this comfort smell brought a whole other feeling to my home and my kids loved the smell it left.

Do Not Recommend Swiffer Wet Jet
Bought a Swiffer Wet Jet and sprayer pump quit working after 6 months. Tried fresh AA batteries , but sprayer pump still does not work. Bought another brand new Swiffer Wet Jet today and sprayer on the new unit did not work out of the box even tried with other new AA batteries beside the included AA batteries. Ensured handle is fully inserted into the base, but sprayer will not work. I will be returning the new Swiffer Wet Jet for a refund. I am still stuck with the broken 6 month old unit.

New design with 2 batteries is NOT a good option.
I used to love the swiffer wet jet. I bought a new one and gave my old one to my son for his new apartment. The new one only has two batteries in it. I have tried 3 different sets of batteries. They are brand new batteries, and there is no power to this swiffer. I am looking for a swiffer with the 4 battery pack. I have been using swiffer for decades, but this is going to cause me to find another option. What a terrible change that was made to this product. I would rather have you not include the batteries with purchase and just go back to the old swiffer. I cannot even use this one. I would have given my old swiffer 5 stars…

The newer version is easier to use. The battery part in particular uses fewer batteries than the one it is replacing. It is a lot quieter when dispensing the cleaning fluid too

My air purifier goes crazy when I mop with the swiffer. I looked into it and they use toxic chemicals. They also test on animals! I bought Bona instead. Swiffer, stop animal testing!!

I loved this Swiffer wet jet. But I guess the motor quit on me after a couple of years, because it lights up but does not spray. I did all the YouTube suggestions, like sticking a needle or soaking it in some water to unclog the sprayers. But nothing. Besides I don’t hear the noise anymore. So save yourself the money and buy something without a small motor. What’s worse I had just bought 2 new bottles. Now I get to spray them by hand!
