SWISSGEAR City 18" Backpack - Black

I have a long commute to work. I don’t carry a lot of stuff on me, so I needed something small to help me through. This bag is small, but you can fit quite a lot in there. I’ve also used it to travel with my 2 year old to hold all of his things. Quality is different compared to the backpacks I’ve had too. It’s better. I’d buy another one.

I love this bag. It’s very comfortable for long walks and the slim profile is a good thing for conventions and or busy transit, all in all a good bag for a day out about town.

I use this bag daily. It’s my go bag, goes with me everywhere, and gets tossed on the ground a lot. It’s survived me passing out with it on my back multiple times. Only has a few scuffs I could probably buff out if I bothered. Purchased it due to its size. Not as bulky as a traditional backpack, but large enough to hold necessities. Only complaint is the zipper pocket that opens up like a book. It’s awkward to handle and to zip up on-the-go. Would prefer a more traditional two zipper flap attached at the bottom, like how most backpacks are. Other than that, love it. It’s more spacious than you’d think and you can pack a ton of little odds and ends in there.

The backpack is perfect size and good features! But the zippers are kind of hard to zip open/close.

I really like this pack. Yes it is a little narrow and simple, however that is exactly what I was looking for. Solid quality and comfortable to wear. Would recommend and buy again.

I love this day backpack. The only drawbacks is the zipper on the front pocket. It opens sideways rather than half a way just in case you are storing something else you need handy. It will fall off easily. The second feature lacking is the support to hold the backpack in place attached to the telescopic handle of your luggage

I bought the City Backpack a while ago well ahead of my husband's birthday. He just opened it today and loved it! Note: My husband is very, very picky. Truthfully so is his wife, LOL. I didn't even look at it when it arrived, just left it in the package. Now that I see it, I wish I had ordered two. It's a great size and well thought out for an urban dweller.

Large enough for my iPad, umbrella, lunch or anything else i need for work. But still compact, has a larger & deeper pocket for my larger metal water bottle that’s too big to fit in a cupholder.

The material is very durable.

Much smaller than expected. No way would a high school student be able to fit all of their things. Also cans with a security tag.

Book-bag is super small. I returned it immediately. Inaccurate description of the book-bag.

I have not had a chance to use the backpack however, it seems very sturdy and well-made so far I’m happy with it

Very nice little backpack, great for conventions and festivals

I've been using this backpack for a few weeks now while commuting by bus, day hikes and air travel. I find this pack to be ideal for shorter trips which don't require a lot of packing since it's not bulky and comfortably fits my personal belongings (tablet, chargers, wallet, pens, keys, head phones, etc) and also a light jacket/socks. This backpack is not designed for carrying larger items for an extended trip. The front pocket can be opened up flat which helps with easily packing and accessing smaller items. The shoulder straps are comfortable and overall this backpack is well made with sturdy zippers.

I wanted a small bag that fit well against my back. It fits all the little things you need for a day trip. It can even fit a small laptop however it won't offer it much protection/padding. Overall, a very good bag.

Comfortable to use & good padding inside as well

I have been enjoying my look, placing this backpack on every time. From work in the morning, then to the gym at night, this backpack adds a unique touch of tactical and sleek style to my apparel and gear. The backpack is not big, not too small, yet has enough space inside to store quite a few things at once and not look bulky or displeasing to my appearance. Plenty of pockets inside and out, all sizes, my favorite is a very unique small zippered side pocket. This side pocket is perfect and the same shape as my Beats Wireless Headphones case , this is where I store them at. Looks awesome, unique look among a city full of all kinds of people wearing backpacks. Has a nice cushy padding facing my back that keeps me comfortable when I have to lean back on my backpack. Hope you enjoy this Swissgear and I’d buy it 100x over how fond I am of this great product. Gaining experience using this backpack is when you start to really appreciate all the little tactical features this backpack offers.

Extremely nice backpack. However, my 15.6" laptop is to BIG for it. 🤔😭 I ended up having to buy another backpack.

Even though I haven’t taken it out of its package yet, I got this pack for my business & advertising days on the road for my motorcycle.
