This was a Christmas gift for my 8 yr old daughter. It has been a huge hit and she plays with it every day. It works really well. She doesn't have any issues with the camera or the buttons functioning like they should. It has definitely been the favorite gift. Only downside is the batteries don't last very long when you play on it every day like my daughter does. We are replacing the batteries every three days. So it really gets expensive in the battery department. I would definitely recommend buying rechargeable batteries to go along with it because it will save you money in the long run with how often they need to be changed.

It’s cute. I like that there are many activities for the creature. I don’t like how the buttons are a bit off . Sometimes when I try to select something it thinks I’m trying to back out of the menu. It’s a cute gift, I bought it for a 8 year old and they like it . Im writing this review as an adult that had a tamagotchi as a kid and I liked the old buttons better , just sayin.

The buttons are glitchy. Does not always respond or responds incorrectly to button tapped. They should’ve stuck to real buttons vs touch ones. My daughter cried because she was so excited to receive this gift and was so disappointed with it.
