Do not buy this TV. I ended up having to add a Firestick to this TV bc the apps kept crashing, the time to switch between apps was way too long. I even upped my internet speed to see if that was the problem. All problems resolved when I quit using the Tv itself. Wish I’d spent more initially to avoid adding a Roku or Firestick

It was great at first; easy to set up, great sound and picture but after a year the power cable occasionally stopped connecting. If you wiggled it a little you could get it to work. The light on the bottom lights up when powered down, that’s how we knew it wasn’t connected. (Side note, the little light is white and pretty bright, it’s annoying in a bedroom) Then 6-8 months later nothing, no power at all. We tried different cables from other TVs but nothing. Now we have a paperweight on the dresser and we have to buy a new TV.

Dont waste your time or money.

This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased a TCL over the past few years in general. At this point, I’m getting over it.. the words are not on track with the picture, everything is delayed, I have to reset it constantly, sometimes sound works and sometimes it’s just silent, the volume doesn’t turn up or down when it’s suppose to, the picture freezes half the time it’s on and has to be shut off and turned back on again, and it stalls when trying to go up or down on channels when I’m using Hulu live or scrolling through different apps. I want my money back.. it’s been less than a month and it’s a total waste of money.

Lag, Buffering, Delayed Navigation Response, Intermittent Sound

Despite great wireless network strength and bandwidth, this TV lags, buffers and stutters with every command. The time between pressing a button on the remote and the TV responding (even navigating and changing volume, things that should be native UI processes) is marked by a multi-second delay. If that weren't enough, every ~30 seconds or so, the sound recurringly drops out completely for a few seconds. No amount of power cycling, reseting networks or wireless channel optimization has had any impact on the above issues. TV is going back to Target.

The picture and smart-capabilities are great, but the sound is terrible. Even with a sound bar, you have to have the sound over 60 to really hear anything. Also, if you want to have a wireless sound bar, you have to buy a ROKU brand which are almost as much as the TV itself on sale.

I had this for all of 24 hours and the audio went out completely. I did 5 different methods of troubleshooting but nothing working. Waste of money.
