Got this TV last April. It worked ok until about 2 months ago. After numerous phone calls for tech support my TV hasn't worked at all for about 3 weeks now. I am trying to be patient but feel like TCL is dragging their feet in replacing this TV. Now they want me to try another TV with the antenna or try a new antenna wire with my TV. Let them take it back and try this stuff themselves.
Was happy to buy a tv that I could stream Netflix with. However, once the tv was hooked up with my components, the audio and video are not in sync. First it was only with my cable tv. After spending a lot of time with tech support, they showed me how to reset the system setting for audio on the tv. This seemed to help at the time. Afterwards the audio went out of sync again and again and again and now the audio is out of sync when using my dvd player as well. Resetting the system audio setting doesn't work. I turn on the tv and either the audio is OK or it's not. On top of the sync problem, the speaker sound on the tv has started to cut out. Turning the tv off, then on again helps but I shouldn't have to do that to hear sound. I've had the tv now for about 6 months and am really sorry. I can't return it. I dread calling tech support again. I just want my money back so I can buy a different tv. Would definitely NOT purchase this tv/brand again.

The t.v. itself is fine. The picture, sound, and Roku options are all as advertised, but, as another reviewer commented, the remote control is awful. The buttons on the remote that came with my t.v. worked maybe one out of every 25 pushes. I contacted TCL and they sent me a replacement. The new remote is only marginally better. The primary buttons are hard plastic and generally unresponsive. It feels like a child's toy remote. Honestly, if I hadn't thrown the box away, I would return the t.v. because of this frustration. There is a remote app you can download that does work well, but it's a pain to have to pull it up each time you want to adjust the t.v.

TV antenna usage with USB plugged in is unstable.
Avoid because of stability.
See why Target offered this product (poor stability).
Also, support from TCL did not occur when I communicated issue.

First of all, the TV itself looks good. Has all the functions you would expect from a Roku TV.
However someone else roku/ and netflix account was already on this TV and it was boxed as new.
The legs were not attached and the screws were not bagged. IT was very odd all around. I have decided to keep it as it doesn't seem scratched or anything.
I reset it and put my own account information in.

I had to return the tv since the sound was so bad and it had no legs, It looked like the picture would have been great had the tv had the legs in the package and the sound was not so bad, The price is great but if I have to pay another $100 or more to get a sound bar to make the sound bearable, that sort of uses up any savings, I hope TCL works to get the sound fixed and gets better quality control.
It’s a good TV for the price you pay. However, it took a long time to set up and register. It wasn’t a plug and play as I would have hoped. You HAVE to make a roku account in order to use the TV and for me that was timely.
