I purchased this tv in October of 2022 and was having problems by December. the volume button stopped working on the remote and the apps wouldn't work and kept going back to the Home Screen. By January the screen began turning colors sporadically, and by February lines began to appear on the screen. I purchased an extended warranty but was told it should be covered under the manufacturer. one I contacted them and showed them the screen I was told there was damage to it, despite there being no way any damage could of occurred while I was at work. Horrible experience and I should've returned the tv as soon as the problems began! Thoroughly disappointed in the TV and the customer service! Save yourself the trouble and purchase a more reputable brand!!

Second one in two years. Last one went out. This one only gave us 1.5 months before it went out. Sounds on screens normal until you attempt to play anything then it's just green with sound no picture. Last time was totally black. Not sure how they're able to keep selling TVs that do not work. Don’t waste your money on this! It’ll Work decent for the first few months but after that it’s trash. It’ll start to take a while to turn on, freeze, glitch out, the remote will struggle to work, you’ll click your life away just for the TV to restart itself. Never getting this brand again.

This TCL 55-inch upgrade from a 43-inch was a significant step forward. Although our room isn't particularly large, the 55-inch television makes it feel more like a tiny theatre. Having a good picture and all of Roku's features built in makes it simple to watch genuine 4K media on a large screen. The only drawback I can identify is the subpar quality of the built-in speakers; in order to have nice full range sound, you will need to supply better speakers. This is unfortunate because the 43-inch TCL had excellent, built-in full-range speakers.

I really like this tv. The quality is really good considering the low price point. Bought this on sale & the picture and sound are great! A sound bar isn’t necessary. The tv sits on a wall about 12 ft away from our couch and I never have to have the volume above level 26. My only gripe is the remote for this tv doesn’t have the microphone option. We have a Roku for another tv in the house and that remote has the microphone function which I use very frequently bc I’m lazy & I lack the patience to type everything in. Otherwise, phenomenal tv that doesn’t break the bank.

Good Roku TV

Got this TV on sale and it has been good so far for the size and price point. It is a nice alternative if you don’t want an Amazon Fire tv but want all of the same features essentially. TCL obviously isn’t the highest end brand of TVs, but it’s proved to be quality so far.

Although the price was great you get what you pay for. I will not purchase TCL again. No picture after 2 years of rarely using.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. I don’t even know why this brand is still sold ANYWHERE. There’s no buttons on the TV. So when your remote stops working and your app doesn’t work you’re screwed. They came out and replaced my TV after 4 months with another TV which won’t connect to my app… but the remote works (knock in wood) it’s just a piece of junk. You get what you pay for. No idea how this company makes any money. I mean if all these complainers called for service abs their $200 TV is replaced how does anyone make any money? TARGET need to stop selling these… and the company needs to stop making them

I will never buy a TCL ROKU tv again. the remote stopped working and now it won't connect to YouTube. It is 4 days old.
