First Smart TV - First TCL TV. Love it! My only issue is it makes all non-cartoon shows look like a soap opera - frames per second issue. I don't know if there is a way to fix this - I just set up the TV last night - but notice that a lot of TVs do this now. I prefer a more "cinematic" frame per second look. I have it hooked to a sound bar, but prior to that the sound was actually very decent - much less tinny than my Sceptre 55' inch. Picture wise - everything looks amazing. Set up was pretty quick and simple. The remote threw me for a loop - I was expecting a more traditional one - with numbers, menu, volume... etc. Since I have my TV hooked to Satellite TV - there really isn't any need for all those option on a TV remote, as the satellite providers remote does all that for me. I had to re-connect their remote to the TV, but that was a simple google search. All in all - I'm very happy with the quality of this TV. It has a crisp, clear, picture - and the colors seem on point for me. Very Happy With This Purchase!
I purchased it (TCL 65" Roku 4K UHD HDR Smart TV) in 2018 and it is a fantastic TV. Excellent picture quality. I was TOTALLY impressed. I have had no problems. I didn't realize the remote was a ROKU remote and was perplexed at first, but extremely happy with this purchase. I LOVE the playback feature of adding a memory stick of up to 90 minutes. Easier to use than my other major brand TV.

We have had this T.V. for a few months now and I am disappointed. The black color is very grainy. When you are watching a movie or TV show that has a dark background (a night scene) the color is pixally. I will not be buying this brand. It's a lot of money for something I am now stuck with. :-(

Hi Grins, There are options available to adjust the picture settings to better fit your personal preference. You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing! TV does not connect to my Wifi. Called the help desk for help but no luck.
