Tea Drops Instant Matcha Boba Kit - 3ct/6oz

The matcha tea was alright, but the pearls were so weird so weird. Also, I didn't like how subtle the matcha taste was.

The tea itself was not good in my opinion. It had maybe a hint of matcha but barely. The pearls were surprisingly great texture, and I'm super picky about Boba pearls. Seems to be inconsistent though, based on the reviews. So I will not be purchasing again and will be sticking with my matcha powder.

The boba has a different best by date then the tea/box so it was already bad when I bought it. Thought I'd still try and it while the tea was good the boba was gross. There's better boba kits out there.

Of the three packages of tea, two were opened. I tried the one that was still sealed. The tea is good, the boba however was horrible. Not chewy at all like you expect from boba pearls.

This tea is such a treat! I prepared it exactly like the package said and added just a splash of unsweetened coconut milk and it was perfect and delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness for me, sweet but not too sweet. The boba was chewy (I microwaved it for 30 seconds). And I love that the tea is organic! Looking forward to having this again!

The boba was sweet and chewy and easily heated up. The tea was tasty, I added a bit of vanilla almond milk and sugar in. I love this kit, and would buy it again. For 3, easy to make, boba drinks, I think this kit is worth it.

The boba pearls are not chewy, like they're meant to be and like they're described on the box. They're crumbly and dry on the inside. I prepared them as instructed, then I tried preparing them by letting them sit in the hot water before adding ice and milk to see if that would help them absorb more water and develop the chewy texture. This did not work either. These were also available at my local City Market (Kroger) for a lower price, so if you still insist on trying them, I would check other stores.

I added a shot of heavy whipping cream and some pre-made tea to top it off and it tasted great. The Boba on the other hand was quite a disappointment similar to warming up fries in the microwave, just won't ever be good. The straw was another issue. I love the thought of being who friendly but the Boba gets stuck and the straw gets flimsy and unusable. I will be exchanging for the other kit to see if it better. This was way overpriced too

5-star product! Really surprised by the output. Being a fan of boba tea, I just wanted to try at home without having to go through the labor of making homemade boba pearls. I used 1% MILK, boiled the milk and poured 6-ounces of hot milk per drink (though the instructions only call for 4-oz. boiled water) over the "tea drop" (cube form of matcha tea), gave it a quick stir, added the "brown sugar boba" in the packet while the milk is still steaming hot, stirred until all the brown-sugar in the boba packet plus the tea cube dissolved, let it sit / brew at room temperature until cool enough to make it to the refrigerator. After an hour and a half, CREAMY SMOOTH matcha boba tea was ready. All of us happily drank away to the last drop. There was a lot of boba without having to complain about very few boba pearls, and about a tablespoon was leftove after the drink was over - even that was eaten! ONLY thing I would do differently next time is I would use boiling hot water to pre-cook the boba a minute or two before adding it to the brewed tea. Probably because of the 1% milk (which still has some fat and the creaminess of dairy), it tasted JUST LIKE the Bay Area $$ boba tea at posh boba tea shops! Quality of the tea itself was top-notch. And the ingredient list is good as well. Comes with those big paper straws as well. Could be a tad cheaper, but for this good a drink, it is worthy enough.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I was really excited to try out Tea Drops Matcha Bubble Tea Kit. First, the positives - the kit itself is really cute and comes with three servings of the matcha tea tablet, instant packages of boba and biodegradable straws that are similar to "boba straws". The directions on the box make it very simple to follow. Now for the negatives - I found the overall taste to be too sweet and the boba was disappointing in both taste and texture. I think this kit idea is fun and great but I just wasn't in love with the overall taste of the product. You add a bit of creamer of choice so I may try to play around and see if I can make it better in any way. Overall I think those who might enjoy a sweeter version of a matcha bubble tea might like this and having the convenience of being able to make it yourself is great.

The first thing I noticed was how convenient the kit is. Everything you need is individually packaged. The only exception is milk or creamer, if you wish to add. The back of the box has easy to follow step-by-step instructions. Follow these and your tea is ready in just a few minutes! I really like the taste of the tea. There's a solid matcha tea taste with a wonderful sweetness which I really enjoy. Each cup contains 60mg of caffeine so this is a great beverage to enjoy before you start your day. I really enjoyed the Matcha Bubble Tea Kit and I know you will too!

With this kit you only get three servings so you might think it's a little expensive for your budget. I give it four stars because it's fun and tastes really good but is expensive.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Okay, I've never tried Boba OR Matcha go going in blind was quit the experience. We live in a rural area so Boba isn't available. I was surprised at how easy this was to prepare. everything comes individually wrapped and the instructions are clear. I didn't know you were supposed to add creamer to it so it tastes...a little clean but I guess that was the green tea and matcha. After I put in some creamer it was surprisingly delightful. I hope they come out with flavors other than matcha though.
