Conscious nail care leaves your nails healthier than when you started, and that's the philosophy that went into developing the entire tenoverten Nail Polish collection.
Each tenoverten non-toxic nail polish is named after a street in tenoverten's hometown of New York City, and the colors are classic and contemporary, like New York itself. The nail polishes are smooth and streak-free, allowing for easy application at home or in a salon.
8-free, vegan and cruelty free, these nail polishes do not contain: dibutyl phthalate (dbp), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, or triphenyl phosphate (tphp).
For best results, use with a base coat like tenoverten's The Foundation base coat, which helps strengthens nails, and a high shine top coat like tenoverten's The Shield for longer lasting effects.

I’ve been seeking a clean nontoxic polish in this deep bordeaux color. This is pretty close but after a few layers, to look even, it comes out practically black. Under the right lighting, a tinge of red shows so I dealt with it. However, the biggest issue is how quickly this chipped off. I used the tenoverten top coat too and within a few hours two nail tips were chipped a bit. By the next day, more of it was coming off. I don’t know if it’s the polish or topcoat or both because of the brand, but I don’t find it worth the investment if the manicure coloring lasts 45 minutes.
I bought this pretty blue thinking it would be a nice, light color for the hotter months. I got a bottle of polish marked Austin but the color was more of a grayed teal. I opened the bottle and the color of the polish was pretty much the same grayed teal. To make it worse, the bottle was not close to full and the polish was thick. I painted it on my nails since I was thinking maybe I could get used to it. After less than 24 hours I removed it by peeling it off in whole sheets. I am very disappointed it was nothing like any of the pictures. The closest I can come to the color is looking into the opened bottle in the picture and that is pretty much the color I saw looking at my bottle and the color on my nails. I want to let you know I have several other bottles of TENOVERTEN ten polish and while some are thicker than others most of the colors are close enough to the color you see online. It would be helpful if we could see swatches of the colors on manicured hands. I really like some of the colors and will try again.
Bought this nail polish in Jane and Prince and used the brand’s base and top coat. Super disappointed. Jane was so streaky that I had to do at least 3-4 coats. Prince is a beautiful lilac, but it chipped the next day. Love that it’s cruelty free but the polish just doesn’t last.
I was disappointed because I really thought this nail polish was going to last at least a week, but it didn't. It started peeling off the third day I put it on. It's just like any other brand. I won't recommend it. I think it's over price.
