Conscious nail care leaves your nails healthier than when you started, and that's the philosophy that went into developing the entire tenoverten Nail Polish collection.
Each tenoverten non-toxic nail polish is named after a street in tenoverten's hometown of New York City, and the colors are classic and contemporary, like New York itself. The nail polishes are smooth and streak-free, allowing for easy application at home or in a salon.
8-free, vegan and cruelty free, these nail polishes do not contain: dibutyl phthalate (dbp), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, or triphenyl phosphate (tphp).
For best results, use with a base coat like tenoverten's The Foundation base coat, which helps strengthens nails, and a high shine top coat like tenoverten's The Shield for longer lasting effects.
Your clear choice for clean. Ingredients these products are formulated without, by category: • Beauty, Personal Care & Cleaning - formulated without Phthalates, Propyl-paraben & Butyl-paraben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). • Feminine Care, Adult Care & Diapers - fragrance free and chlorine free. • Pets - formulated with meat, poultry, or seafood as the first ingredient, and without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

Terrific nail polish that goes on well, lasts and the colours are great. So far I have Church and Oliver. Oliver is a deep gray that is surprisingly flattering. Best of all, the product is cruelty free, vegan and non toxic. Shows once again that high quality beauty products can be made without the need to abuse animals.
I believe what I spend my money on is how I cast my vote. I've done a lot of research on non-toxic beauty companies and stumbled upon this brand. I love their mission, and the best part is that I love the products! It's a feel-good purchase. (I have Elizabeth, Ludlow and Madison and love all three!)
I first discovered this brand when I worked right around the corner from their Soho location. I no longer live in NYC but I exclusively use their polishes. The curated color selection is extremely of-the-moment, and most importantly- they are non-toxic and 8-free.
