Description

Finally, a nail polish remover that comes up smelling like roses. This non-acetone nail polish remover is paraben-free and non-toxic, and it contains carefully selected ingredients like Horsetail Leaf Extract, Essential Oils, Vitamin E and Aloe to help protect your nails from dryness. This ingredient-conscious polish remover has no harsh fumes or toxic chemicals, and is free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. It's better for you nail care in a bottle.

For the best results, soak a cotton pad fully and hold on top of nail for 10-20 seconds to help breakdown the top coat and make polish removal easier. Then wipe pad upward to neatly and swiftly remove polish. Repeat as necessary. Wash hands thoroughly if immediately reapplying polish as the excess hydrating oils from the remover can affect polish adhesion.

Q: First time purchasing this product. The contents 'exploded' from the bottle upon first opening. Is this bottle rancid, or otherwise defective?

submitted by rlp - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello, thank you for your question! We are so sorry this happened to you. It is not something we have heard happening before! Are you able to email us at e-nail@tenoverten.com so that we can resolve this for your ASAP? Our sincerest apologies again, The Tenoverten Team

  • A: Thank you for responding, Target Beauty Consultant. Target's response is appreciated; however, there are a few issues: The answer from Target shows it was posted "3 days ago", and my question "6 days ago" -- my question was submitted 7 days ago, and only yesterday (which would've shown as "5 days ago", but was actually 6 days after submission) there was still no response. Also, the issue was not "leaking" but more 'exploding' -- imagine that particular brand of candy dropped into a soda pop; a bottle of sparkling beverage, shaken; a liquid which has gone into fermentation, and has accumulated the gases of the microbes inside the bottle. The contents did not simply "leak" out -- there was height and distance of spurt. .. While we were waiting for a response, the item was returned for an alternate natural, vegan-appropriate brand.

Q: does this work on powder gel

submitted by MAP - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, in our experience, only pure acetone can really work on powder gel.

  • A: Hi MAP! To remove gel powder you will want to use a nail polish remove that is acetone based to ensure all of the powder dissolves off the nail. Hope this helps!

I love this nail polish remover. It doesn’t dry out my skin like other removers and comes in a cute bottle. It’s a little pricey but I feel good knowing it isn’t drying out my nails and it doesn’t have a strong smell.

This product is so disappointing. It could not even remove a simple coat of polish..soaking my nail for 20s and repeat...who has time for this? Sure, it smells nice but what i'd much rather have is my time and money back. Please don't give away your money nor your time!

Doesn’t remove nail polish, smells nice

This is the 3rd review I’ve written so I am trying giving 3 stars so this will actually be published. This doesn’t remove nail polish without considerable effort. I spent 15 minutes soaking and 20 minutes scrubbing with a soaked cotton ball to remove base coat + regular lacquer + top coat. It smells nice but that is not enough to justify the price, size, and ineffectiveness.

Does not remove nail polish, Smells Nice though

It smells great! It does not remove nail polish reasonably, though. It took me 15 minutes of soaking, 20 minutes of active cotton ball rubbing to remove a base coat, lacquer, and top coat.

Is this supposed to remove nail polish?

I'm a little baffled about this product. The pros: It smells very nice. It feels nice on my hands and fingers, not drying. However, the con: it doesn't remove nail polish. At least for me, even with soaking and little fingertip covers, this takes a lot of elbow grease to get the polish off. I use regular non-gel nail polish with base coat and top coat (from ten over ten!) and it took me abt 15 minutes of scrubbing with cotton balls even after soaking for 15 minutes. Did I get a bad batch?

I was super bummed with the The Rose Soak. It didn't work for me. I tried it several different times in different ways (cotton ball, cotton pad, soaking). I had the Ten over Ten Repair on my nails and couldn't get it off with the above.

I received a set of polishes from a friend for Christmas. I liked them so much. I went online and ordered the Rose Soak remover as well as a couple of other polishes. I love the polish, the topcoat and basecoat! This rose soak was just OK, and it was very difficult to takeoff some of the polish. I had to revert to a drugstore polish remover to get the rest of it off. But I will continue ordering nail polishes from Ten over Ten.

I use Essie nail polish and multiple coats with the SE gel top coat and although it took some time to take it off my nails, don’t feel brittle after taking the nail polish off like traditional nail polish remover. I am a huge fan of this, and so am I previously brittle nails that now get a chance.

I really like this rose soak and especially the smell. However, I still think that it is a bit hard to remove my polish in comparison to regular nail polish remover. But for a natural remover, this is quite good.

Woah, this is a great alternative to your usual nail polish removers. I love that it is not as harsh and definitely nourishes your nails when taking off polish! I find that I have to soak for a good while and multiple times in order to remove my polish, but it does work! So it takes longer for me compared to stronger nail polish removers but I appreciate that it has better ingredients and leaves my fingers noticeably in moisturized condition.

This stuff is hands down the best nail polish remover I have ever used! I love how gentle this is on my nails. Most nail polish removers are so hard on my nails and leave my nails parched and dry! I love this stuff!

I was skeptical, but... on my natural nails, with 3 coats of polish on them, 1 large cotton ball divided into two part, and this stuff removed ALL the polish. My nails felt great, there was no smudge of residue on my fingers, and my room and hands smelled like rose water. I will never go back to acetone polish remover.

This is definitely one of my best finds of the year. I bought the wipes earlier in the year on a whim & I was so shocked at how well they worked with no smell of acetone! I didn’t expect them to take my polish off quickly or effectively, but they did. I use this with a cotton round and it not only cuts my removal in half compared to the target brand remover, but it does it gently and without smell.

only used one time since i got it. seems to be okay but nail polish does not come off as stated in another review. you do have to soak the nail for a bit. then you have to wipe over several times before it gets out of all the corners etc... i do not see that my nails are moisturized from using it, but my nails dry easily anyway.
