What a great toy for my creative kid! He loves everything about it. I love that he spent hours creating (and recreating) instead of staring at a screen.

My 9 yr old son along with my two nephews ages 7 and 9 years old. Are in love with the game. I took them a while to build something, but the challenge was good to keep the boys busy. Definitely recommend.

The Thames & Kosmos Catapults & Crossbows is great. My daughter is 13 and she was able to assembly easily on her own. The crossbow is what she assembled first. It will shoot a good distance but does not hurt if it hits a person.

I personally really liked this kit, my son however did not. He played with it about ten minutes and he had better things to do. I love the ideas it teaches, he knew it was for learning and wasn't trying to be a part of it.

The catapults and crossbows experiment kit contains 110 plastic and rubber parts designed to produce ten catapults and crossbows. The extensive manual includes an excellent explanation of the physical forces that come into play in each experiment. The recommended age of 8+ is very reasonable at that...see moreof the reviewer's review

The Catapults and Crossbows set is surprisingly well done. If a child can put together one of the more difficult Lego sets, they could put together this set. One thing that sets it apart from Lego is that there are scientific explanation throughout the directions. The catapult uses a rubber band and...see moreof the reviewer's review

My son was so excited to open this! He’s 11 and I let him build it alone, after two hours, he was able to finish building it. The instruction is clear so he didn’t have a hard time doing it himself . My son really enjoy building it and he’s more thrilled playing with this! He loves it so much! He pl...see moreof the reviewer's review
