This is a new formula and it is AWFUL. Smells terrible, makes my skin itch with the most minimal use, has already caused my skin to break out, and feels like there is a thin veil of soap left sitting on my skin all day. I didn't realize it was different initially because i was just reordering. What an unpleasant surprise. Never again. Please go back to the old formula that actually worked like a charm. Would give the new formula 0 stars if I could.

The new formula is awful why would yall change it ??? This is a prime example that if it ain’t Broke! Don’t fix it ! The original formula from backing 2021 was great then there was an update in 2022 and since then it has changed again !!! The new formula is oily and it does not work . Along with a price increase , I will not be purchasing another bottle and will be returning the one that I have . This is horrible ! Misleading and disgusting

The new formula feels so wet on the skin like you’re just sliding a cotton ball forever- it does not dry and you don’t feel like you’re ever going to be done. Hate the new formulation.

The old formula was amazing. The only thing that has ever consistently cleared my face. Ive always struggled with finding a product that does. Finally found one and they changed it berthing about it. This new one is awful. Makes me breakout so bad and smells like fish. I’m so upset I can’t find the original anymore.

This product recently changed and the new formulation reminds me of the scent of wet dog. I miss the prior crisp lemongrass-forward scent. Haven't used long enough to discern whether this version works differently.

Clearing up my skin! Not a fan of the lemongrass smell, would like an unscented option

The original formula worked great on my face. This 2% BHA Toner now sent instead of the original picture advertises one with aloe vera and lemongrass as ingredients, NOT hyaluronic acid. My skin does not like that too much. What used to work wonders has now become the problem. I'm grateful for what used to be. Now I must once again go in search of something that works. Orignal formula was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the new isn't even worth the one. I'll come back if they go back to what they had.

I have been ordering this for years and it was wonderful, however the newest bottle I received smelled and felt like diluted murphy’s oil soap. It was foamy, smelled terrible, and felt horrible on my skin!

The new formula is not as effective as the original formula. I can tell that it is different simply by the way it feels on my skin. I wish they would go back to the old formula…it was perfection!

Thayer’s changed the formula for the lemongrass blemish clearing toner and now it’s like wiping slippery soap on your face. I absolutely hate it! I loved the old lemongrass toner it worked so great! Now I have to see if one of their other toners will work for me.

I was using the Thayer’s blemish clearing toner with lemongrass but it seemed like this one replaced it. I felt like I was wiping liquid soap on my face, very slippery feeling, not like the Thayer’s toner I had used previously. I only used this a few times I went and bought a different Thayer’s toner because this one sucks!

It’s perfect for acne fighting but can be drying so make sure to add a good moisturizer

This cleared my teen son’s acne!! He plays football and was having some major breakouts! This blemish clearing toner paired with the Thayers soak it up moisturizer has worked wonders for his skin! Unfortunately Target doesn’t sell the moisturizer but you can find it at Ulta! 10/10 recommend!!

I ran out of this product and couldn’t find it so I bought a similar salicylic acid + witch hazel product. The new product made my face break out like I’ve never experienced and I never break out. I was desperate to get my beloved Thayres toner back and thankfully now I have! It was difficult to find in stores either because it’s so popular or because they just don’t stock very many near me. I didn’t know just how well this product was formulated (alcohol free, ph balanced, gentle ingredients, etc) until I stopped using it and now I’ll never search for anything else. Please never discontinue this product.

This is my favorite toner! It helps keep your skin clear from acne more so than the other Thayers toners. You do need to follow up with a moisturizer otherwise your face will be dry but by far this is the best toner I've used from any brand. The scent is very mild so don't be intimidated by the lemongrass!

Wow! This product really works. It removes dirt from your face that you didn’t even know was there. I’m 45 years old and have struggled with acne and pimples for years. This liquid has significantly improved my skin. My face looks smoother and brighter. The scent of the product is pleasant too.

I love love this product. Maintains the balance of my combination skin. I use it daily, it can be a little drying without apply the mositurizer! However, really helps keep my acne at bay which is what I am looking for clear skin. The whole acne line is awesome but this one I know I cant live without.
