This gentle toner is derived from a time-honored formula, developed by Thayers to cleanse, tone, moisturize, and balance the pH level of skin. In addition to containing pore-cleansing Rose Water and certified organic Aloe Vera, this unique, proprietary blend also contains certified organic, non-distilled Witch Hazel that’s grown exclusively for Thayers on a family farm in Fairfield County, Connecticut. By avoiding distillation of our Witch Hazel, we’re able to preserve the naturally-occurring, beneficial tannins, which are known to offer antioxidant and antibacterial benefits, and bring about a natural glow. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a huge toner fan as I don't find they usually do anything. I tried this one it has a pleasant scent, doesn't sting my face and doesnt leave it feeling dry. I don't find it super hydrating but I think the aloe calms my skin a bit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have really oily skin, this is a great toner because of the astringent nature of the witch hazel and smells nice because of the rose water. The rose water provides a soothing effect but is not quite enough for the dry spots on my skin. In all honesty, unless you have unmanageably oily skin and need an additional step in your routine to keep your face more matte throughout the day, it is okay to skip this.

I use a different toner twice a day and have used the other brand for the last 20 years so I wasn't sure if I would like this new brand of toner but I am happy to say I love it and it has become my new favorite toner! I like that it is alcohol free so it won't dry out my skin which I have experienced in the past. It also leaves my skin feeling super clean and soft to the touch. I have sensitive skin and this does not bother my skin at all. I was excited to try this product as I am a fan of Witch Hazel for my skin. I found that I applied the product to my face whenever I felt that I needed to calm my skin, or I needed a pick me up, or my face just felt dirty and it was more efficient to tone then wash. The product had a soft pleasant scent of roses and witch hazel. It was soothing but it did cause my skin to feel a bit tight and dried out. That was fixable with some moisturizer though.

This toner has a slight scent of rose and is so absolutely soothing to use after the shower or to even remove makeup. My husband has been caught a few times using this even after shaving so it's not only for women! I seen this on store shelves but was skeptical to try but this could be my absolute favourite toner now! Thanks for the opportunity, if you haven't tried it yet it's time to grab yourself some Thayer's toner and add it to your self care routine.

When I saw that this toner included Witch Hazel, I was a bit apprehensive, as I was expecting a very astringent and tingly toner. However, this Thayers toner was a pleasant surprise, as it wasn't astringent, but soothing. I enjoyed the rose water and aloe in the toner; the rose water gave it a light floral scent and the aloe made it moisturizing.

I have been using it for about two weeks now and am really impressed with the results. This toner removes extra makeup and dirt that my cleanser has missed.
