The First Years Modular Steam Sterilizer & Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the First Years Modular Steam Sterilizer and Dryer. It does a really good job at sterilizing all of my sons bottles and extra bottle parts. With all the germs out there, you can never be too careful. I never realized how much I would use and enjoy using a sterilizer and dryer for my sons products but I really do think this is necessary if you have a child. It's a little bulkier than I would like but it does a great job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been growing more and more intrigued by the process of using steam to clean and sanitize so i was really glad to try this product. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. Setting up was simple, the product itself is pretty much cool proof. Easily fits bottles of all sizes as well as sippy cups, small toddler bowls, baby feeding spoons and breast pump parts. This is so nice to have if you are using a breast pump multiple times a day. I was always a bit nervous about the cleanliness of pump parts after washing in soap and water, so being able to use steam power to sanitize really gives me peace of mind. The sterilizer is quiet and the time it takes to go through a cycle is pretty short. It doesn't take up a ton of space and it is very lightweight if you need to store it underneath the countertop or in a cabinet. Im glad to have this product and i absolutely recommend it to any parent with young children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this sterilizer so much better than the microwavable sterilizer I had with my first child. For starters, the microwavable one only holds 4oz bottles unless you lay them down which takes up way too much room, I can sterilize 8 oz bottles in this one. As a newborn, I was sterilizing bottles after every wash so the automatic nature of this made it so much easier. Now that my son is older I am only sterilizing his bottles about weekly, It does take up some counter space so I do tend to store it away when it's not in use which requires some space, still, I find it way more efficient than the microwavable sterilizers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 10 months old infant and she is on formula right now. So I wash and clean bottles almost every 3 hours. I do sterilize bottles at least once a week with boiled water. Thus, this sterilizer and dryer machine definitely help a lot. The machine has all separate parts that I can do sterilize either accessories or bottle or combine them at the same time. It’s pretty easy to use, similar to steaming machine that I just need to add water, turn it on and let it do all the work. Just make sure to add enough water because it will automatically turn off when water is low. I like this function as it helps to prevent further damage.

I love how I can fit all of her bottle as well as pacifiers and toys in there and make sure she’s safe. It’s cleans fast and does a great job to sanitize and disinfect. I have used it everyday since I got it and it is well made and fits on my counter. It is also easy to clean and store if need be. I feel so much better knowing that the things my daughter puts in her mouth the most are clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a few years since we have had a baby in the house and we owned a previous sterilizer but it was complicated to use. I had been leaving the sterilizing process up to my wife, I'm afraid I'm going to overboil something or somehow burn them. This is something I have been able to get on board with. It's a smaller unit, it fits right on the kitchen counter for easy access. It comes with two different trays, you can use just one or both at the same time. The bottom tray can hold the bottles, I think about 6. While the top one can hold pacifiers and all the bottle parts. It only needs a few ounces of water, about 10 minutes and everything is good to go. The instructions are pretty straight forward, our 12 year old can start it with no issues. She has liked helping out. Sterilizing might not have been top of the list before but with COVID, as a dad, I feel more comfortable knowing her bottles are clean. I'd recommend this to any parent who isn't a fan of the boiling method.

I think all moms who have used a pump can agree that the most annoying part is washing all the little pieces and water getting trapped inside. One of my favorite parts about this sterilizer and dryer is how easily It fits multiple sized items like pump parts, pacis, bottles, and even baby’s teethers. It’s very easy to use and dries quick! I cant Imagine going back to ever air drying after using this! I even put my toddlers sippy cups in there. Would definitely recommend to every parent!

Back in my day we used to have to microwave our bottles for 4 minutes and let them sit for 10, while timing ourselves! This sterilizer is a gamechanger!! I got it for my friend who just had her first baby and it makes the stress and chore of constantly sterilizing bottles so much more easy, requiring less effort and thought.

I tried a couple of sterilizers and this one actually gets the bottles dry and does so faster than most. I like the different options as far as sizes go and the fact that you can use the try to sterilize pacifiers or just nipples if needed. It was easy to operate and doesn't look terrible sitting on your counter. Definitely recommend this sterilizer over others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the opportunity to use this ‘The First Years Modular Steam Sterilizer & Dryer’ for awhile, and I continue to be thrilled with it! I appreciate that this uses only steam to sterilize and eliminates the need for any chemicals. The operation is straightforward and effective— the dryer is especially efficient. It does sound loud while operating, so take that into consideration. The unit itself is sturdy and well-built. The size is ample, and I really like the modular aspect in adjusting to my particular needs. You can also store items within the unit after sterilizing as well. I wholeheartedly recommend!

My wife and I usually sterilize our baby’s bottles by boiling it in a pot of water which takes a while also leaving it on a drying rack taking hours to dry and even then it wouldn’t be completely dry.this steam sterilizer and dryer works so quick and it’s so easy to use. I love how big it is and I’m able to fit big and small bottles and pacifiers. Huge time saver. Definitely need to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great! It drys perfectly and doeant leave any spots in the bottles. Im able to fit all the bottle parts on the top. The only issue I have is that I use dr brown bottles and the top doesn't fit snug on the middle piece because of the bigger bottles. It didnt impact the way that it works but it just kind of bothered me. All in all works well though

It honestly should be on everyone's baby registry. I love that it is compact and can be left on the counter without taking too much space. The Sterilizer itself is spacious so you can fit plenty in it to get sterilized at one time. I use it for pacifiers, pump parts, my toddlers cups/straws and toys. I love that it has an auto shut off, but helps when I am busy with baby, toddler and the older kiddos school. I also one hundred percent love that it doesn't need chemicals. It's all steam that sterilizes everything.it also has to dry as well. It is a small machine that does a big job to help clean and sterilize my kids necessities. I highly recommend The First Years - The First Years Modular Steam Sterilizer & Dryer to everyone. It is a high quality product and very durable. Every parent needs this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man I wish I had bought this steam sterilizer and dryer sooner! I just had my 3rd child and this has been amazing. Washing all the bottles and tiny pieces by hand is tiresome and just doesn’t feel right putting in the dishwasher with harsh chemicals. Plus this dryer really works! You don’t have to wait forever for pieces to hang dry. Only downside is it’s fairly large and takes up a decent amount of counter space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mother who breastfeeds and I use a lot of different products to collect my milk and I use about 10 different bottles a day. I sterilize every product after I use them or the baby uses them because I did develop thrush early on in my breastfeeding journey and one way to get rid of that type of bacteria is by sterilizing. So I sterilize all my products at least twice a day. The sterilizer I previously had did not have the drying capability. Therefore I had so many bottles, haakaas, nipple shields, pacifiers that would stay wet all day and night long if I did not air dry them properly. Now when you sterilize, its only good for 24 hours. The problem I had was that my stuff would always stay wet. So once I received the first years modular steam sterilizer and dryer I was super ecstatic in knowing that once I sterilize my stuff there is the option to dry them!! Wow what a huge difference has that has been. It is super easy to use, just put it on the option of sterilize and dry and it does all the work for you! It isnt noisy in my opinion and there is so much storage space inside. It has two layers, so the bottom is perfect for bottles, my haakaa's and storage silicone bags. The top layer is perfect for bottle tops, nipple shields, pacifiers and things that are small. I seriously love this sterilizer, it has been a huge difference in keeping my stuff sterilized and dry! I seriously have nothing to complain about, I love this system.. I just wish I had this sooner! perfect for anyone who sterilizes their products constantly.
