Q: Would the serving size be half a tablet for a 2 year old or 1 whole tablet?

A: The bottle says 1/2 tablet for ages 2-3, and a whole tablet ages 4+. Since a child's weight varies regardless of age, you may want to check with the Target pharmacist or your child's Dr. Both of my children take these vitamins willingly. My older child just takes it and chews it up. My younger child gets hers crushed in her yogurt, applesauce, etc. My children's dentist prefers these over the gummies too. Best of luck.

So I personally used Flintstone Vitamins Growing up and now am using them for my kids the only thing I wish is that they had an organic version without all the extra stuff in them, but it is one of the few vitamins for kids and teens that is not a gummy vitamin that dentists discourage against so that is a plus with these vitamins.

The formula has changed. My boys switched to Flintstones from Nature made vitamins when Flintstones stopped using artificial colors and flavors. My order of Flintstones complete that arrived yesterday is full of artificial colors and flavors (those numbered ones that the company does not disclose what they are chemically). They also use sucralose instead of sugar. It bothers me that my kids are getting a dose of these other things along with their vitamins. Yes, I know that all these chemicals in Flintstones vitamins have been approved by the FDA. Please go back to the old more natural, not as sweet or nice tasting formula.

I do my best to seek out safer alternatives for food (always choose organic when possible) and body products for my children. After getting fed up with teeth rotting gummy vitamins (dentists do not want your kids eating them!), I decieded to go old school, and purchased Flintstones vitamins. My kids love them, no gunk in their teeth, and I was thrilled that they now use natural colorants, so no worries about food coloring. Highly recommend!

All three of my kids love these (3yo, 5yo, 10yo) and remind me they need to take them if I forget. They have iron, which isn’t present in a lot of kids’ vitamins, and they aren’t gummies (the dentist told us to not give gummy vitamins because they are more likely to cause cavities).
