The game mechanics are decent but some of the rules are confusing and there is nowhere outside of the rule book to clarify. There’s a card that can essentially deflect damage back to the attacking player in a way that makes no sense, but there’s nowhere which clarifies if that’s allowed or not. After one play through I will be returning this game.

Its such a cool fun game. I have game nights with cousins and brought this, it was an instant hit and just the box alone was enough to peak everyones interest. Such a change from video games and mobile games everyones become used to. I keep the box on display in my room because it just looks so cool!

It wasnt difficult to learn pretty easy to read instructions that are included. Whether you have seen the movie like myself or not seen it like my daughter its easy to follow. We had a great time playing together and it didnt last to long, some games take hours and hours that I really dont have. If you like the movie you will probably like this as well. I actually learned stuff about the movie I didnt even know. See if your families alliance will come freely or be forced.

In our friend circle we often engage in some sort of indoor board games over the weekend and we wanted to give this a fair shot. We were very taken aback with how engaging it actually is and we didn't even realize how we managed to spend so much time playing it. The game board itself is quite colorful and interactive and keeps your interest at its peak. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

We regularly play board games with our friends and we were excited to receive this and test it out. Five of us tested the game and found it to be a fun game! The packaging is nice, we liked the smaller size box, setup is quick and easy, and the quality of the pieces was great. The game itself if straightforward to play. We did agree with the 14+ age recommendation. Recommend to any fan of the godfather or game board fan. Worth the add to the colllection.

I enjoyed the use of oranges as life tokens (great metaphor from the movies), and the roses for alliances were a nice addition. However, I found the game underwhelming. I would have loved if it wasn't so two-dimensional. The instructions were a bit unclear, and took a while to understand. I would like to see this game revamped and become more interesting, but I am very happy to have played and shared my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently selected by @thisisbutterly to try and review the Spinmaster game called The Godfather- Last Family Standing completely free.So the weekend came and we played this game with 3 people in the family ready to kill with 2 shots each turn, take away some oranges (lives) and steal the glory. At first the game was a confusing as to how to be played even with the instructions as there were no dice to roll like in other popular games. It took above 10+ mistakes and constantly reading theinstructions to get the hang of it. In the end, I died and my eldest won. After the initial confusion each of us enjoyed playing a lot. The action cards are very interesting to say the least. it is important for people to have a good understanding of the English language since some of the action cards can get confusing in order to carry out the next move. I am probably one of the few people in the world who has never seen The Godfather movie . And after playing this game we are looking forward to seeing the movie very soon. We loved playing this game especially since it is so different and a proper game to be played with older children on either family nights or during the vacation.
A fun new option for game night!!

Its for 3-6 players and took about 45-60 mins to finish. Its not really a board game but more of a strategy card game where everyone has a player board to stay organized. The little details that relate back to The Godfather are so good like the oranges and rose game pieces. The artwork on the deck of cards and player boards is really nice. The game box is also super compact so its easy to bring along for parties or game nights. It would make a great gift for fans of The Godfather or anyone who loves board games in general. Highly recommend!

Not to mention, its nice to have a new mature game in the mix! One of us hadnt seen the movies before ( shocking, I know!), so movie marathons had to happen prior to game night. Though its not necessary, having seen the movies definitely enhances the game experience! Without, you would miss out on the thrill of the references sprinkled throughout! Like with any new game, theres a learning curve at the beginningbut after a practice round we all put our Don faces on. We were very entertained by the new twist on the nostalgic classic we [now] all knew too well. It was fun to revive the Godfather in our lives! It would no doubt, be the perfect game to help set the stage for a successful themed party! Needless to say, much fun was had and were really satisfied with this game! We look forward to playing again and again! Games night anyone!?

The setup took about five minutes or so to pop out all the pieces and put the game board together . When you get into the game it gets really intense and you are trying to make alliances with people before someone else an if your anything like my family you yell and threaten them. There is also alot of "godfather" like talk. Over all I would 100% recommend this game to any family that does game night and wants to change things up a bit.

But the game is very easy to understand and once we played it a couple times we got really into it and the take downs and forming alliances were a lot of fun. Would love to play with 6 people and see how competitive we get. The game pieces are very well made and its very easy to keep everything in good shape. It also doesnt take a long time to play for those that dont like board games that take awhile. Cant wait to play this with more people !

The Godfather boardgame was really fun to play! The instructions were very easy to follow. I liked that you weren't committed to this game for hours on end and that it lasted around 40 minutes to play. You also didn't have to be familiar (or in my case, remember!) The Godfather movies. It was a fun game that can have several different outcomes, so it keeps you entertained and wanting to play again!
