I’ve been using honest wipes for 8 years. A few months ago I noticed the wipes seemed soapier. Not sure why but they changed the formula and started adding more soapy stuff to their wipes (I contacted honest and this is what I was told). Searching for a new wipe brand now because the soapy residue has given my daughter a rash. Disappointed...
We have used Honest Baby wipes for the last 7-8 years. They were always gentle, and had no scent. We used these on our babies as well as in the cars of the adults. They were one of the only wipes that felt good on my children's' eczema, and we could use these multiple times a day after going to the park, grocery store, gas station, etc ....UNTIL THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA!! Now there is a scent (not a good one). They also feel like the liquid is burning our skin (especially the face and other sensitive areas). After using on hands for a few weeks, my daughter's hands were red, dry, sore, and they looked like they had a chemical burn everywhere she had been wiping (which was up to her wrists). We discontinued use immediately and after a few days her hands started to heal. I don't know what they did to this new formula but we will not buy them again. It's unfortunate, because these used to be the absolute best wipes in the entire world.
What is the point of having a biodegradable, plant based product with that thick plastic lid? Please come up with more environmentally friendly packaging Honest Company. Maybe then the cost could come down a little because wow these are pricey!!
