In short, buy this game right now. For a longer explanation, I loved Breath of the Wild (overall, I logged about 1,000 hours playing it), and I was so excited about the sequel. And it did not disappoint. In fact, it met all of my expectations and much more. The story line, the maps, the quests, and the bosses are impressive. I was worried that it would be basically the same game as BOTW, but I didn’t have a reason to worry. I’m so glad the game developers took their time masterfully creating this game, and they more than delivered. I imagine I’ll log far more than 1,000 hours playing Tears of the Kingdom, as I’m already at 50+ now.

i’ve already poured 30+ hours into this and i’m loving it. in my opinion the story this time around is a definite step up from BOTW and it’s very fun discovering all the new things (which there’s more than you expect probably) and how the original world has changed since botw. and it still retains all the freedom and room for creativity that botw had
