Amazing how in less than 150 pages, Waller produced so many emotions in The Moments in Between. In just a few pages, I was quickly pulled into James' and Jane's lives in feeling their pain and frustration with each other, then in James' numbness in trying to deal with loss. The last chapter was hard to read through tears of hope and the expectation of healing and reconciliation. Highly, highly recommend!
