I have longish hair that has become thinner as I have aged so it tangles very easily (OK, it has always tangled easily!). My daughter is a teenager and has very thick, really pretty hair that is straight from the weight of how thick it is. So two different hair types and we both love this brush. Honestly we had one that has no writing on it, so we don't know where the heck we got it. BUt it's the same "type", the boars bristles with the little plastic things sticking out. I looked everywhere trying to find that exact brush, that we call "the good brush". Because I never would have thought that it would work as well as it does -- we didn't use it. And one day, fresh out of the shower when it's hardest to get through my hair without the ripping and tearing, I grabbed it and -- what? It was too easy. I couldn't believe it . So i told my daughter and she said I can't brush my hair when it's wet. I said oh, my dear, you can now. Try this brush. She used it and was blown away. Where has this simple design been all of my life? I think it's important for whatever reason to use this exact type of style whether it's this brand or another but the one that increases shine. DOES IT? I notice nothing like that but I just want a brush that doesn't hurt and destroy my hair and this is it. I tell ya, I found a round brush designed like this too and loved it but the flat brush is just easier. So I went online to target and bought like how many different brushes. I spent over 100 dollars to sample them and this is the one that is like that original (brandless) brush. It's amazing. So the others are going back and I ordered like 4 more of this brush. Can't risk one being misplaced, we need backup!
This brush is amazing on our hair. I can't believe how easy it is to get through it without pain and pulling and tugging. I mean, who stops to write a review on a BRUSH? This person because the brush deserves it.
