Brunstetter and Janice Thompson use Bible scripture, short commentaries, and prayer prompts to do this, and they also explain how to create your own prayer jar. Study these devotions, jot down your thoughts on a slip of paper, add a special prayer, and place the slips in the jar so that you can revisit them again! Sometimes it's hard to understand that physical pain isn't the only hurt that we experience. Emotional and spiritual pain can be just as overwhelming and debilitating and healing feels impossible to achieve. Using this book is a wonderful way to begin to heal those hurts, and these devotions will never lose their relevance.
