Great info and let kids decide

This book has great info. Kids have the right to learn what’s happening in the world. They also have the right to decide for themselves. Those who oppose these kinds of books don’t realize they’re actually imposing an idea on their kids. Let them see what’s out there and let them decide.

It's a nice, simple book that perfectly explains different pronouns people choose to use. There's lots of diversity and it's great for teaching an inclusive message. I see a lot of one-star reviews, most likely from people who've never bought the book, seething about its "ideology". Trans people have always existed and the fact that so many people are upset at this book's existence is a perfect demonstration of how it's significant. It takes zero effort to be kind to others.

I bought this in store and as something that uses neopronouns, (bug, bugself, bunni, bunniself, xi, xir, Xlll, karma, karmaself, gore, goreself), I really appreciate this book being so inclusive and educational. The books colors are very calming 4 my autism as well. I think more children should read these books to open their horizons 2 their identity :3

as a queer person who lives, and grew up in the Bible belt, I wish I had a book like this when I was younger to let me know that there was nothing wrong with me. When I was growing up, I felt like an alien. it wasn't until I became an adult that I found people like me, and realized that l wasn't alone. I'm non-binary. and there's nothing wrong with me for that.

For all those who celebrate the fullness of creation and all of God's children. Let the children know: Diversity is not an accident or defect. Diversity is the manifestation of divine truth! Thank you Chris for blessing us and our children with this truth.

Amazing book - 1 year ago
Wonderful illustrations! Terrific message. It isn't hard to ask someone what their pronouns are. But some would think you were asking them to pull out their eye teeth with their fingers. It leaves the detailed explanation up to the parents. If a kid can learn that there is a Billy, John, Josh, Roger, Steven, Suszie, Susan, Beth, Beatrice, Debra, and more people with different names in their circle they can learn the pronouns they wish to use as well.
