The Sweetest Fiend - by Raven Kennedy (Hardcover) - Target Exclusive

The most beautiful book

Loved this retelling of the pied piper. Fantasy aspects were awesome and the romance was full of banter and tension.

So beautiful with the pink target exclusive cover and sprayed edges!

🌎 Unique: Unique world building that hasn’t been done in other books 🗡️ Banter: Esti & the Pied Piper had me laughing out loud all through this. ⚡ Pacing: Constant action that feels completely natural. 🎭 Unpredictable Twists: Multiple twists along the way and an ending you will NOT see coming. 🔥 The Pied Piper: He is officially my new top book boyfriend. 🥵 I am so utterly devastated that I cannot read The Sweetest Fiend for the first time again. I think about this book EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! Raven Kennedy completely ruined me in the best way possible and left me with the worst book hangover I have had in years. The entire plot was such a breath of fresh air in a genre full of similarities. The world cracked open and some people ceased to exist while some were turned into core fae who have special powers and abilities specific to them. I knew when I was crying in the prologue that this was going to be an epic read. The world building? Creative, fantastic, unique, need I say more? The tension and banter between Esti and the Piper is INCREDIBLE. I laughed out loud so many times. The pacing was spot on. There was so much going that I never felt bored for a single page, but also nothing felt rushed. Every single thing that happened felt natural and made sense for the story. Honestly I feel like there isn’t much I feel like I can say about it without spoiling something because there are multiple twists which I loved because it kept me turning page after page. I definitely didn’t see the ending coming either. The Piper was hot and I think he is my new favorite book boyfriend and I can’t wait to see more of him in book 2. This is a MUST for your TBR! I don’t think I will ever stop talking about it. Thank you so much Raven Kennedy and Avon Books for the arc in exchange for my honest review. I will cherish it forever along with every single edition available that I have preordered.
