This cookbook is what I’ve been looking for which is fairly healthy recipes that do not sacrifice taste that don’t require a bunch of steps or random ingredients. Prep time can still take a good bit of time especially for novices like me but if you are a pro it’ll be much quicker for you. Step by step instructions are very clear and I love her notes on alternative and food storage. There seems to be a recipe for each kitchen gadget: air fryer, Dutch oven, slow cooker, steamer, cast iron skillet, Instant Pot, etc and I love that! Also, you MUST check out the website where there is even more delicious recipes! I have so many of them saved I don’t know where to begin! I’ve made several dishes from the cookbook and website from entrees to side dishes to desserts and they have all come out great with the exception of the lemon poppy muffins which is probably my fault because 1) I don’t like the taste of whole wheat flour so I’m using all-purpose flour only going forward and 2) I over-mixed the batter. Attached are pics of the phenomenal zucchini snack cake (I also made her recipe the homemade frosting and it was perfect), blueberry banana bread and the slow cooker apricot glazed pork and veggies. I’ve long been adverse to cooking cause I found it all to be too complicated so my husband has been doing the cooking. With his job in sales and often long hours I wanted to help out with dinners and this cookbook (and website) has been extremely helpful in making me more confident in the kitchen.

My favorite book to read right now! When my copy arrived in the mail I immediately sat down with a coffee and drooled over the full color photos and perfectly described dishes! I have made at least 10 of the recipes and plan to cook my way through - and then cook them all again. My photos are the blue ribbon chili and rosemary cornbread. I have also supplied a photo of a deliciously failed attempt at decorating her gorgeous (tasting) carrot cake. Erin’s recipes have never let me down. My sister and I have been cooking “with Erin” for more than a year. We always follow her instructions and our dishes turn out perfectly consistent and exquisitely tasty! I’m also eating up all of the advice in her amazing book! Will recommend over and over!

This cookbook is full of very tasty and doable recipes for your average cook. I hate recipes that’ll do yummy but require lots of obscure ingredients and a lot of prep time to make. This book has beautiful pictures for each recipe, along with so many helpful tips and ideas! This would be a great book for any cook new or seasoned. Get it and you will not regret it!
