Liz Marvin is a writer and editor. She has written Be More Tree, The Secret Lives of Animals, Dog Speak and The Windowsill Gardener for Michael O'Mara Books. She is a wildflower enthusiast and lives by the sea on the south coast of England.

Rosie Dore is an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Kent (UK), where she keeps bees and attempts to manage her ever-growing house plant collection.
