I have a large picture window in my living room that gets the sunlight for a majority of the day and living in southern Texas, my a/c would run all the time and that room would still be the warmest in the house because of the sunlight coming through my wooden blinds. I originally looked at the Eclip...see moreof the reviewer's review

Works Great.

My bedroom window faces the west so whenever the sun starts to set my room heats up like crazy. The main reason so much heat gets in my room is because the windows are so old and don't provide any insulation but the curtains make a world of difference. They are also great for keeping the sunlight o...see moreof the reviewer's review

So worth it! I was skeptical that I wasn't putting much money into a pair of thermal curtains but I needed something to fit in my budget to keep the light out of our nursery to allow my infant to sleep better. These keep the light out wonderfully! They also seem to keep the nursery warmer at night -...see moreof the reviewer's review

Good light-blocking curtains

5 out of 5 stars

These curtains are great for blocking light attempting to pour into our east-facing bedroom window. The material is kind of stiff, and they're a little difficult to get to stay to the sides of the window when you do want light in, but all you need are some curtain tie backs. Over all I recommend the...see moreof the reviewer's review

Don't wash the curtains!

2 out of 5 stars
Julie 4 years ago
The curtains were great until I had the bright idea to wash them. I washed them in cold water on a gentle cycle like it says on the tag. But taking the curtains out of the washer they were stuck to each other, so I unstuck them and part of the backing peeled off.see moreof the reviewer's review

These curtains had a good purchase price and seemed like a great deal. When we took them home and hung them in our sons room after the first night we noticed a chemical smell coming from the room. Our sons room gets direct sunlight and as it shined on the curtains it heated whatever chemicals were i...see moreof the reviewer's review

NAUSEATING TOXIC smell

I have regular windows with average to above average natural light. The curtains were fine for the first 3 or 4 days, then something happened -- the "foam backing" melted and now my room has a nauseating TOXIC SMELL similar to formaldehyde. So disappointed. I"ll be returning these for sure. Glad I h...see moreof the reviewer's review

Not worth the money

I knew these weren't pricey curtains but I expected better durability. First time I washes these according to tag directions, the latex where it had been exposed to sunlight stuck together and ruined what light blocking there was. I'll have to hunt for better quality somewhere else and pay more.see moreof the reviewer's review
